- Porsche Presents ‘The Art of Dreams’ by Chris Labrooy at the Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM)
Porsche presents an immersive installation, ‘Dream Big,’ by Scottish artist Chris Labrooy during Miami Art Week. The initiative illuminates the topic of dreams with temporary works of art in major cultural centers. Labrooy’s sculpture addresses the child in every one of us and challenges beholders to dream big. It forms a physical anchor point to a project by Porsche in the virtual world that will be presented in the near future. ‘Dream Big.’ can be viewed at the beach of the Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM). The centerpiece of ‘Dream Big.’ is a white Porsche 911 Carrera. In the hand of a larger-than-life figure with a racing driver’s helmet, the Coupé looks like a toy car. The artwork is an homage to the dreams of childhood. With a playful tone, the installation is intended to inspire the beholder to wonder where their dreams will take them next. Digital artist and Porsche fan Chris Labrooy first created ‘Dream Big.’ via CGL and then transferred it into reality. The artwork is a reference to a Porsche project in the virtual world that will be unveiled in the near future. “Porsche embodies the fulfilment of dreams. With our ‘The Art of Dreams’ initiative, we want to inspire people to do just that – to dream,” says Robert Ader, Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at Porsche. “But we also want to support artists and make extraordinary works accessible to the public. In the US, the best way to reach the art and design community is during Miami Art Week, when the creative heart of the world is beating in Florida. We’re excited to be making our first appearance there.” The installation is open daily from 11 am to 6 pm from 29th November to 3rd December. More on ‘The Art of Dreams’ In October 2021, Porsche launched ‘The Art of Dreams’ – a series of interactive art installations in major cities. A work by the French artist Cyril Lancelin kicked things off in Paris. His installation ‘Remember your dreams’ with giant air-filled elements was later also exhibited in Singapore. This was followed in June 2022 by the installation ‘Everywhereness’ by Ruby Barber (Studio Mary Lennox, Berlin) at Milan Design Week. This botanical artwork with a labyrinth of wild roses and a 1972 Porsche 911 S 2.4 probed the relationship between nature, human-made spaces and technology. More on Chris Labrooy Chris Labrooy studied product design at the renowned Royal College of Art in London. After completing his master’s, the Scotsman was drawn to the digital sphere. He combined his knowledge of real objects with an increasing fascination for the sur-real. Many of his 3D works depict classic Porsche 911 models placed in dreamy desert landscapes or in the form of a flamingo at the home swimming pool. As part of the ‘20 Years of Porsche in China’ jubilee, Labrooy transferred one of his digital artworks into the real world for the first time in 2021. The result was the art car ‘996 Swan’. The artist is a long-time Porsche fan and owner. By ML Staff. Images Courtesy of Porsche
- Lasvit & Johnathan Schultz Gallery Team Up to Find New Dimensions During Miami Art Week 2022
For the first time in the United States, Czech glassworks brand Lasvit is showcasing its daring kinetic glass lighting sculpture A:Live. The piece will debut alongside South African artist Johnathan Schultz's newest golden laser-cut sculpture, part of Schultz’s Diamond Infinity Series, at the Johnathan Schultz Gallery in the heart of the Miami Design District during Art Week from November 30th into the new year. Designed for hospitality spaces, private residences, and even luxury yachts, A:Live is inspired by motion, powered to turn each of its modular glass components, resulting in the effect of constant movement and endless visual transformation. Diamond Infinity’s laser-cut acrylic diamond imprints, covered in 23K gold leaf, seem to produce unending views of its 3D facets as an individual walks around it. Both works beg the viewer to interact and discover new dimensions within their presentation. "Life is never stagnant. On the contrary, it is in constant flux. As we move and change, so does the A:Live installation. With a set of simple movements, it creates seemingly living compositions. New dimensions of glass and light are illuminated through the installation's mobility, and Lasvit’s long history of unparalleled glassmaking is honored," says Stefan Mihailovič, member of the LASVIT Design Team. “This Diamond Infinity piece draws one into its gold layers which change before your eyes,” says artist Johnathan Schultz. “Similar to the A:Live installation, the different segments glow in their own unique way as one changes angles and moves around the art. Its beauty is in the dimensions and depth coming from the inner layers, just as we have in ourselves.” Lasvit and Johnathan Schultz proudly blend art and innovation, embody luxury, honor their cultural roots, and make people wonder at the constant motion of life with the presentation of New Dimensions during this year’s Miami Art Week. More on Lasvit LASVIT is a global pacesetter for creating daring, unique spacial and lighting experiences that are designed to elevate the feelings and aesthetic taste of everyone. Founded by Leon Jakimič, LASVIT is a visionary leader in the design industry with a boundless optimism and passion for making inviting art and design by fusing the traditional with the modern. LASVIT is dedicated to a singular mission: To “Lift everyone” by creating breath-taking and sublime spacial experiences that touch the soul of all who look upon them. LASVIT. Lift Everyone. #LasvitDesign #LasvitSanctums More on Johnathan Schultz Gallery The Johnathan Schultz Gallery, located in Miami Design District, is Mr. Schultz’s first permanent curated space in the United States. As a South African artist, Mr. Schultz is inspired by precious metals and diamonds, two of the country’s most valued natural resources. He integrates these different mediums along with other precious stones and artifacts into works of art that have a back-story of hope, diversity and the ultimate rise over obstacles. His passion for innovation is matched by his fascination with contemporary art and the way art communicates universally. Most recently, Schultz has been constructing new work within the NFT space. Originally formed as a physical creation prior to being translated to the metaverse, GEM has been created to be a representation of ourselves; a relatable character that can be whatever we want it to be. - Kelly Wearstler Debuts Graphic Marble Works For Arca
ARCA, the global purveyor of the most exclusive natural stone, tiles and wood, presents an original collaboration with renowned designer Kelly Wearstler for Miami Art Week 2022. Wearstler is internationally recognized for her provocative concepts and expressive narratives, signature to her extensive body of work. Through an exploration of materiality, color and form, the NUDO Collection includes 16 pieces of furniture and 6 accessory pieces that convey themes of unity while exploring the beauty of natural stone. (Four works from the 22-piece NUDO collection, Photography by Harper Smith) Through a distinctive merger of nature, the human hand and technology, NUDO transforms marble into sculptural softness, inspired by the ancient craft of weaving and the simple beauty inherent in interconnected fibers. Wearstler’s knotted, rounded, and ribbed forms are amalgamated and materialized into uniquely scaled and functional designs with the help of ARCA’s state of the art craft and manufacturing techniques, and a mutual passion for natural stone. "With these designs, I was deeply interested in exploring the possibility of creating a real softness through curvaceous shapes within the fortitude of marble. A nuanced and sensual interplay of suppleness and strength. The universal craft of weaving is rooted in ancient cultures from across the globe and each piece in NUDO pays homage to that history. Our presentation with ARCA is an expression of what binds us together as the world converges in Miami to celebrate art and design” - Kelly Wearstler. Unique benches in circular and linear silhouettes, curvy chairs and benches, a sculptural console, a variety of side tables, voluptuous stools, and a series of small accessories such as a platter, a bowl, and various sized vases, are among the collection of pieces. The blocks from which the shapes were carved came from all over the world; materials include Verde Tikal, Pink Marble, White Beauty, Calcite Blue, Rainbow Onyx, and Rosso Verona from Asia, along with Fior di Bosco, Rojo Alicante, Rosa Valencia, Crema Marfil, and Amarillo Triana from Europe. NUDO celebrates the allure of marble by meticulously honing the natural stone’s interlaced geometries to present a bold expression of unity through the formation of elaborate knot motifs. The pieces will be displayed from November 29 at ARCA Wynwood, and sold exclusively at the showroom, at arcaww.com and kellywearstler.com. “Presenting the debut collection from an industry titan like Kelly Wearstler at Art Basel is an important honor for us. There is a very special concept in the designs by Kelly. Were the objects made in other natural stones, it could seem simple, but with the power of marble, they become really extraordinary. It’s so incredible to see the uniqueness of marble first hand, where each block, and each supplemental creation, is truly different but equally stunning .” - José Fernández, CEO ARCA World Wide Inc. NUDO will be on exhibition to the public at ARCA Wynwood, 260 NW 27th Street, Miami from Wednesday, November 30th in an immersive installation designed by Wearstler. By ML Staff. YellowHeart works with artists such as Kings of Leon, Maroon 5, ZHU, and Burnley F.C. Sitting at the intersection of what has happened to cryptocurrency and what is happening to art and ticketing, YellowHeart is taking the blockchain's power to bulldoze the norms of selling tickets and art by creating an asset class which recognizes that buyers need a mechanism to irrevocably trace provenance of a tradeable item, and creators should get paid a portion of all future profits derived from trading the work they created. ARTISTS MASON ROTHSCHILD Floaties was inspired by Sebastian Vettel’s message at the Miami Grand Prix to “Act Now, Swim Later”. If we don’t act urgently on climate change now, get ready to swim to the next SCOPE art show.” COOL CATS "Historically with my artwork I have heavily focused on the subject and the character. With this piece, Take Off, I really wanted to focus first on the background and emotionally how that makes you feel. The clouds slowly drift by over a bright blue sky to create a calm atmosphere. The empty field leading into the mountains creates a bigger focus on the hot air balloon. The motion of the hot air balloon is to represent a breathing cycle to reinforce the calm theme of this piece." LOCATION 801 OCEAN DRIVE By ML Staff. Images Courtesy of SCOPE Art Show

In bringing together the art and fashion community, female founder & CEO RarityJan and Dopamine provide a real world example of their revolutionary approach to connected streetwear. We’re proud to welcome Dopamine (@dopamine) and their blockchain-powered streetwear technology the “Dopamine Tab” to the Chapter 2 family. Dopamine sits at the intersection of the physical and digital worlds, providing utility and technology that truly unlocks the interactive power of phygital creation. As fashion brands make their way into the metaverse, the problem of execution presents itself, a problem that Dopamine has solved. With their unique Metaverse as a Service (MaaS) philosophy and supporting hardware, they are primed and ready to guide designers and fashionistas alike into the Web3 world, ushering NFTs into more mainstream pop culture Dedicated to the customer experience, Dopamine ensures that neither the brand nor the consumer needs to be well-versed or well-informed in the NFT world. Rather, they use streamlined approaches to empower people to seamlessly integrate between physical and digital. Thanks to their Dopamine Tab, a physical cryptogenic NFC chip embedded in the apparel, each item of clothing becomes a verified Web3 custodial wallet, essentially allowing streetwear brands to plug-and-play into the metaverse. With each chip, the item not only becomes a wallet capable of storing NFTs–whether they be digital art, soundtracks, VIP access, or events to name a few–but also stores the NFT version of that particular piece of apparel. The integration of the Dopamine Tab allows for on-chain authentication of apparel, bringing the most coveted aspects of Blockchain technology to everyday wear. This extends beyond the chip to a 3D wardrobe, 3D metaverse shopping experience, and even an app that can easily guide users into the world of metaverse fashion. With this approach, Dopamine defines Streetwear+–meaning streetwear plus experiences–guiding the future of fashion towards an expanded experience beyond a standalone physical item. The female-owned company presents a proven method of integration, and guides companies through each step, creating a launch pad for Web3 innovation. More on Dopamine Dopamine, led by female Founder & CEO RarityJan, is a one-stop-shop fashion, streetwear brand and creative agency that provides tangible utility that consumers can benefit from immediately by utilizing emerging technology through the creation of their NFC chip, entitled The Dopamine Tab, embedded apparel called "Streetwear+". - Aston Martin Residences Art Gallery Introduces Michele Utley Voigt
The Aston Martin Residences Art Gallery welcomes artist Michele Utley Voigt, who follows in the footsteps of Julian Lennon, Aaron Schwartz, Fabio Mesa and Robi Walters, all of whom have displayed their unique artwork in the Aston Martin Residences Virtual Art Gallery. Voigt’s exclusive exhibition, entitled “Domestic Situation,” will be featured for two months as a three-dimensional immersive experience, replicating the residence’s physical art gallery being developed on the 52nd floor, and can now be viewed here. Connecticut-based digital artist presents "Domestic Situation" as the latest in the Virtual Art Gallery exhibition series Represented by Contemporary Art Projects USA, Voigt’s Domestic Situation exhibit explores the systematic domestication of women, transcendentalism, and modernization of pragmatic feminism. These works gambol between the modern world through digital technology and the traditional world via oil paint on canvas applied using master’s techniques. “These large-scale paintings, NFTs, and digital presentations consider our modern caste system, aspirations for beauty, entrapment of desire, empowerment of luxury, and ultimate emancipation,” explains Voigt. “The works explore systemic female conditioning and align the subjects within that realm while embracing cultural icons. The works explode with voyeuristic opportunities offering both the subject and the viewer moments steeped with escapism.” Voigt is also pleased to present “Aquasitions,” an original oil on canvas, for the Aston Martin Residences’ permanent collection – inspired by the residences’ sail-shaped architecture and stunning interiors, with a colorful creation that is as vibrant as Miami itself. Voigt is an internationally exhibited and award-winning artist. She lives and works between California and New York and is represented by Contemporary Art Projects USA, Miami. She is known for her electric images of the human experience divulged from the female perspective. Voigt received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Otis Parsons Art Institute Los Angeles and Parsons Art Institute, Paris. Voigt exhibits in New York, Los Angeles, London, Florence, Palm Beach, Boca Raton, Miami, New England, and Santa Fe. She participates in major art fairs, including CONTEXT, Palm Beach Modern + Contemporary, Art Wynwood, ARTROOMS London, Florence Biennale, Art Santa Fe, and SCOPE. Her works can be found in many private collections, museums, and institutions. Voigt paints stories of the human experience. The soul of life, demonstrated in depictions of figures interacting within a realm of time, realities, and one another. The interconnectedness of all elements and time. What is seen and not seen. Known and not known. Contemporaneous, interacting, and incessantly influencing one another in a continuum of the past, present, and future. “Domestic Situation” by Michele Voigt can now be viewed at the Aston Martin Residences immersive 3D virtual gallery, at https://astonmartinresidences.github.io/virtualtour/. - Louis Vuitton Presents Empreinte Jewelry Collection
An intemporal Louis Vuitton jewellery collection, Empreinte is enriched by new creations which evoke inner adventure and personal discovery. Empreinte Collection Designed in 2004, the Empreinte collection is distinctive for its immediately recognisable designs which draw their essence from the Maison’s emblematic codes. This year, Francesca Amfitheatrof, Artistic Director of Jewellery and Watches for Louis Vuitton, opens a new chapter by turning her eye to unprecedentedly bold creations with contemporary designs. The impression of trunk studs is etched into these 18-karat yellow, white or pink gold pieces, for women as well as men. The powerful LV initials, designed by Georges Vuitton in 1896, and openworked Monogram Flowers are also to be found. Interlaced rings and bracelets are an allegory for the relationship between loved ones, and resemble the leather straps that fasten the Maison’s legendary luggage. The emblematic four-petalled Flower exerts its universal attraction on medallions that appear as modern talismans, and on the cords of bracelets that lightly follow each movement. Versatility is expressed in a long necklace that easily transforms into a multi-strand bracelet or a stacked necklace. Shapely hoop earrings and a diamondstudded pink gold ear cuff develop geometrical strength, and may be worn individually or mixed-and-matched for a resolutely unique style. With Empreinte, Louis Vuitton asserts a jewellery collection full of character, writing an ode to travel in clear lines and bright strokes. For further information: www.louisvuitton.com By ML Staff. - Prime Video’s “The Crown We Never Take Off” Exhibit at Art Basel
The Crown We Never Take Off is a celebration of Black achievement and a strikingly brilliant exploration of hair customs and rituals so deeply entrenched that neither time nor distance have erased them. This exhibition applauds the overlooked efforts of Black entrepreneurs and creatives with a gifted group of visionaries who, like the Richards family, push boundaries and excel despite the odds. Connecting traditions to the continent while remaining innovative, these artists weave their own rich histories with the realities of the world to create an affirmative place where Blackness thrives, while synonymously documenting the culture in extraordinary ways. Their work makes a bold statement about the power of African identities and repositions Eurocentric art history and definitions of beauty. Prime Video’s RICHES is an alluring, engaging, and artful drama that centers around the Richards family–a Black dynasty in turmoil–as five siblings vie for control of their family’s beauty brand. RICHES invites audiences to see an authentic expression of blackness in traditionally white-owned spaces. The intention of our space is to recreate the feeling of watching RICHES for the first time — celebrating the freedom of Black expression and identity. When Black people are the authors of their own identity, we get stories like RICHES; new artforms, new thoughtforms and eventually new trends that permeate through to popular culture. - Mr. Cannabis Law Serves as Lead Counsel for KetaMD
Mr. Cannabis Law’s team, led by Partner Amanda Barton, Esq., served as lead counsel on all legal aspects relating to KetaMD, Inc. – a telehealth company focused on expanding access to ketamine through safe, effective, and affordable at-home treatments. The law firm assisted with the launch of KetaMD, operational compliance for KetaMD, seed round financing of KetaMD, and the acquisition of KetaMD by Braxia Scientific Corp.– a leader in the treatment and research of mental health conditions through ketamine and psychedelic medicine. The acquisition of KetaMD by Braxia Scientific Corp created one of the most robust networks of physical ketamine clinics and virtual ketamine telehealth services. KetaMD recently launched operations in Florida, with the intention and infrastructure to expand across the nation in the coming months. Through its secure, HIPAA-compliant telemedicine platform, KetaMD hopes to revolutionize the treatment of those who are suffering from depression, anxiety, and other mental health challenges. In June 2020, KetaMD hired Mr. Cannabis Law to help with all legal aspects related to launching one of the first ketamine telehealth companies, including corporate structuring, operational compliance, telehealth compliance, HIPPA compliance, seed round financing, and various other legal matters. As an early mover in the industry with strong technology, KetaMD quickly attracted several publicly-traded companies interested in acquiring KetaMD. To determine the best partner, KetaMD and Mr. Cannabis Law performed significant diligence on many of these publicly-traded companies. Ultimately, KetaMD determined that Braxia was the best fit to scale the KetaMD business and to become one of the leading ketamine providers in the world. Barton of Mr. Cannabis Law was able to lead a team of attorneys to help guide KetaMD through the entire acquisition process. The transaction closed on August 2, 2022. Dustin Robinson, Esq., founding partner of Mr. Cannabis Law, explained, “KetaMD operates at the intersection of two highly regulated industries: psychedelic medicine and telemedicine. Supporting KetaMD from launch through seed financing and all the way through acquisition demonstrates our firm’s deep expertise in highly regulated industries as well as our ability to support companies through various stages of maturation. I couldn’t be more ecstatic for our client, KetaMD, for being acquired by Braxia Scientific Corp. With Braxia’s extensive focus on clinical research led by one of the best depression researchers in the world, along with their operational experience of their brick-and-mortar clinics, the positive synergy between the companies will prove a competitive advantage as they expand their reach together in the future.” Zappy Zapolin, co-founder of KetaMD, stated, “We spoke to various law firms and ultimately decided to work with Mr. Cannabis Law because of their deep expertise within the psychedelic space and ability to lead us through launch to acquisition. Amanda is an absolute all-star and was able to guide us at every step along the way. Beyond just being great attorneys, the Mr. Cannabis Law team shares our passion for trying to help as many people as possible with psychedelic medicines. We are grateful for their guidance and look forward to working with them as we integrate KetaMD’s operations into Braxia’s operations.” More on Mr. Cannabis Law: Mr. Cannabis Law is a full-service law firm focusing on the unique and highly regulated cannabis and psychedelic industries, from startups to established businesses.
