Vanessa Rome Designs a Modern Masterpiece in Palm Beach

The oceanfront light-filled property, by Vanessa Rome Interiors, features collectible design pieces including Studio Twenty Seven Liv Armchairs, a Casa Dio Beverly Bed, a Lago Dresser, and Art + Loom handcrafted rugs by the local Miami showroom of Samantha Gallacher.
As is common with condos, installing furniture posed an interesting challenge due to small and angled elevators. Despite using lower profiles in effort to highlight the breathtaking beach vistas, several items needed to be lifted with a crane over the beach-side balcony to get into the residence, only to find out the week of install that everything had to be hoisted with ropes instead! “It’s never a dull moment in the world of interiors!” explains Vanessa Rome.
Light, warm, and neutral tones can be found throughout the space in an effort to mimic the surrounding natural beauty of the beach. Varying textures and materials can also be seen and felt – marble backsplash in the kitchen, boucle chairs in the living room, plush wool carpets in the bedrooms, raffia stools, hand-spun and painted silk fibers hanging from a Ben & Aja Blanc Half-Moon Mirror, and natural wood furniture throughout.
