For the first time in South Florida, the All-Stars Tattoo Convention will take place from September 29 thru October 1, 12 a.m. – 12 p.m. at the Miami-Dade County Fair & Exposition. The event will feature three days of incredible ink, world-renown tattoo artists, experience new and healed ink competitions, acrobatic arial shows and much more. There will even be opportunities to have tattoos created on-site, plus witness mind-blowing tattoo artistry. It’s a can’t miss event and an opportunity to immerse yourself in the vibrant world of tattoos and connect with fellow enthusiasts, while meeting famed experts.

The All-Stars Tattoo Convention will feature more than 450 tattoo related exhibitors, nearly 900 of the world’s best tattoo artists from more than 60 countries, presented by renown tattoo artist and body modification expert Emilio Gonzalez. Notable tattoo artists include: Yomico Moreno, who has tattooed such celebrities at Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, Juanes, Calle 13 and others; Stefano Alcantara who has tattooed such artists as Maluma, Robert Hernandez, the legendary Robert Pho, the Black Alien Project and Matt Gone, who held the record for most squares tattooed on his boy, just to name a few.
Far from the taboos that linked tattoos to bad people, this body art and artistic expression is currently more than just a fashion, it is an increasingly widespread culture on all continents. The whole world is full of tattoos, which can be seen on many sports or music figures, and even on the models used in advertising campaigns of all kinds. Since ancient times, 7,000 years ago, pigments, ashes and natural dyes were already used to "varnish" faces, torsos and extremities of the human body, as well as faces pierced with pins, earrings or metal rings. Tattoos define social ranks, qualities of an individual or a community, life stages, ancestral rituals and even the very identity of a human being.
The event presenter, Emilio Gonzalez, is internationally known for his tattoo artistry and expertise in body modifications. Gonzalez has been featured in National Geographic’s Taboo Latin America. He has produced tattoo conventions in other countries and has numerous tattoo shops and mobile supply vans across the U.S. His wife and two children are also dedicated to the art of tattoos and body modifications, making it a family business.
“We are looking forward to having this massive tattoo convention. It will be an incredible experience, usually only found in Vegas and throughout Europe. Our goal is to bring top industry professionals together, while also exposing others to the world of tattoo artistry. This three-day event will open to the doors to amazing creativity, while providing an entertaining environment,” stated Emilio Gonzalez, owner of All-Stars Tattoo Convention.
