This fruit-packed smoothie is a little sweet, a little tart and a whole lot of healthy. Frozen fruit and low fat Greek yogurt make it extra thick and creamy — a treat! Make it for breakfast and you’ll feel satisfied until lunchtime.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO MAKE A BERRY, BANANA & POMEGRANATE SMOOTHIE
Five simple ingredients are all you’ll need. As you can see, I buy bagged frozen berries. These are a great freezer staple because they keep for months on end, and are cheaper and more convenient than fresh berries. You can’t buy frozen bananas, so it’s a good idea to keep a stash of peeled ripe bananas in the freezer so you can make a smoothie whenever the mood strikes you.
HOW TO MAKE A BERRY, BANANA & POMEGRANATE SMOOTHIE
Simply combine all of the ingredients in a blender and purée until smooth. Depending on the type of blender you have and how powerful it is, you may need to stop and stir every once in a while to help it along.
That’s all there is to it. Pour into glasses and enjoy!
