- La Mamilover’s Mission: Inside Tatiana Guiribitey’s Blueprint for Purpose, Power, and Philanthropy
Known to millions as “La Mamilover,” Tatiana Guiribitey has built a rare kind of platform: one where luxury, entrepreneurship, and philanthropy move in lockstep. From her early beginnings in Havana to her rise as a Miami-based businesswoman and humanitarian, Guiribitey has consistently transformed visibility into impact, supporting initiatives that span education, healthcare, and community empowerment across the Americas. In this conversation with Miami Living Magazine , she opens up about the intention behind her influence, the family values that drive her mission, and why true success, in her view, is measured by how much you give back. Miami Living (ML): From Havana to Miami to global impact, when you reflect on your journey, what moment most clearly defined the woman and humanitarian you’ve become today? La Mamilover: The moment that defined me was not one of luxury… it was one of necessity. Growing up in Havana taught me the value of opportunity — especially the kind that many people take for granted. But the real turning point came when I realized success wasn’t just about building clinics or acquiring properties; it was about returning to vulnerable communities and looking a child in the eyes knowing they now had access to healthcare, education, or simply hope. That was the day I understood my visibility wasn’t meant to showcase me… it was meant to serve others. ML: Your social media presence as “la mamilover” feels both glamorous and deeply personal. How intentional are you about balancing accessibility with aspiration in the way you show up online? La Mamilover: It’s completely intentional. Glamour inspires, but vulnerability connects. I share the jets, the fashion, the galas… but I also share the grandmother, the mother, the woman who prays, who cooks, who makes mistakes and grows. If you only show luxury, you create distance. If you only show struggle, you lose inspiration. The balance is saying: “Yes, you can live beautifully… but never forget why.” ML: Many people build wealth, but far fewer build a culture of giving within their own family. How did you intentionally cultivate philanthropy as a shared mission with your daughters? La Mamilover: In our family, philanthropy is not a project — it’s a culture. From a young age, my daughters didn’t just attend elegant events; they helped distribute toys, visited communities, and listened to real stories. At our dinner table, we talk about business — but we also talk about impact. I’ve always told them: “Money is a tool. If you don’t use it to elevate others, it loses its purpose.” Seeing them now involved in healthcare, mental wellness, and community initiatives confirms that those seeds were planted with intention. ML: Your academic path took you to Azerbaijan to study computer science, a surprising chapter that many may not know about. How has that technical and analytical background influenced the way you build businesses and charitable initiatives today? La Mamilover: Studying computer science taught me something powerful: every system needs structure. A business without structure fails. A foundation without measurable outcomes becomes emotion without results. I apply analytical thinking to everything — from expanding clinics to organizing philanthropic galas. Compassion moves the heart, but strategy moves impact. ML: You’ve been described as someone who makes philanthropy feel modern, visible, and even magnetic. What do you think traditional philanthropy often gets wrong about engaging the next generation of givers? La Mamilover: Traditional philanthropy can sometimes be so discreet that it becomes invisible. The next generation values transparency, storytelling, and participation. It’s not enough to donate quietly; people want to see the journey, understand the process, and feel part of the mission. When generosity is communicated authentically, it becomes contagious. ML: Walking through your home, there’s a clear sense that luxury for you is deeply tied to meaning and intention. How do you personally define the difference between success that is simply displayed and success that is truly impactful? La Mamilover: Displayed success seeks validation. Purpose-driven success creates transformation. A handbag may be beautiful, but a functioning clinic changes lives. A glamorous gala is elegant, but a family receiving medical care they couldn’t afford — that is legacy. Luxury without impact is decoration. Luxury with purpose is a platform. ML: Your work spans from the bateyes of the Dominican Republic to major philanthropic galas in Miami. Which moments on the ground have stayed with you emotionally and continue to fuel your commitment? La Mamilover: There are many moments I carry in my heart. I will never forget when a mother embraced me in tears because her child received dental treatment she had never been able to afford. That embrace was more valuable than any award or recognition. Those moments ground me. They remind me that impact is not measured in headlines — it’s measured in human dignity restored. ML: For young Latina entrepreneurs and women watching your journey and wondering if they can build both prosperity and purpose, what mindset shifts were most essential in your own evolution? La Mamilover: First, stop asking for permission. You do not need approval to dream bigger. Second, understand that wealth and purpose are not opposites — they are partners. When built ethically and intentionally, prosperity becomes fuel for impact. And finally, never forget where you came from. Your roots are not limitations — they are your power. True success is not how high you rise. It’s how many you lift with you. You can follow La Mamilover on Instagram . By ML Staff

- How Amish Furniture Helps You Embrace a Slower, More Intentional Lifestyle
Miami moves fast. New restaurants open, condo towers rise, and interiors change with every trend. It is easy for your home to feel like it has to keep up, and furniture that once excited you can quickly feel outdated. Slow living offers another option. It is a mindset, not a style. You choose fewer, high-quality pieces that last and care about how they are built and how they age. Amish furniture in Miami, handcrafted with solid wood and traditional techniques, embodies this approach and brings steadiness to your home. Could the way your furniture is made help you slow down and live more intentionally? Encourages Fewer, More Purposeful Furniture Choices In a city like Miami, it's easy to buy furniture quickly because showrooms and online options are readily accessible. But when you slow down and think about it, you start realizing how impulsive you can get sometimes when a table chips, a chair loosens, or a dresser looks dated after a couple of seasons. When you choose slow living furniture, you stop thinking in seasons and start thinking in years. Solid construction, steady proportions, and materials that can handle daily use without falling apart are the ideas behind "Slow Furniture". It favors durability and long-term value over convenience. In the US, millions of tons of furniture are discarded every year , much of it made from composite materials that are often non-recyclable. Replacing pieces every few years increases your carbon footprint through repeated manufacturing and shipping. When you keep furniture longer, you reduce that waste and limit that cycle. Values Craft, Time, and Slow Design You choose the wood, confirm the size, and think about where your slow furniture will sit and how it'll be used. A dining table or even a solid wood porch swing is made after that decision, not before it. The build takes time because someone is cutting, joining, sanding, and finishing the piece by hand. The focus is on getting it right, not getting it out the door quickly. That slower pace affects you, too. While waiting, you double-check measurements and picture how the piece fits into your daily routine. You're not responding to a bargain sale or a social media trend; you're choosing a piece meant to stay with you until the end. When you wait, you move away from convenience and toward intention. Uses Natural Materials That Create Visual Calm The space feels steadier when you use solid wood in your home. You can see the real grain and natural lines on the surface. It looks and feels like wood because it is wood. In Miami homes where sunlight is strong and colors can be bold, natural materials and simple tones help balance the room. They make the space feel calmer and easier to live in. Research supports this reaction. A study published in Sustainability found that people who viewed rooms with clear or knotty wood surfaces showed lower stress responses than those who viewed plain gray walls. They also felt more comfy and relaxed. Solid wood can support a calmer mood. Over time, it also ages well. Instead of cracking and peeling like laminate, it develops small marks that blend into the grain, helping your home look lived in rather than worn out. Supports Slower Daily Routines at Home Think about where you eat most evenings. If your table feels light or unstable, you tend to clear it quickly and move on. An Amish-made dining table feels different; it's heavy and stays put. You don't need to worry about leaning on it or setting hot plates down. Over time, that kind of stability makes meals feel less rushed. Your dining routine becomes something you return to, not something you squeeze in. Prioritizes Timeless, Repairable Furniture Over Fleeting Trends Redesigning a room every time a trend fades is exhausting and expensive. One year, it is light oak and soft curves, and the next, it is dark stains and sharp lines. Timeless furniture avoids that cycle because its proportions and craftsmanship stand on their own, so you are not pressured to replace it every few years. There is also reassurance in knowing that solid wood can be repaired rather than discarded. Scratches can be refinished, joints can be tightened, and the piece continues to serve your home. Instead of treating furniture as temporary, you invest in something built to last. Complements Slow Living With Intentional Home Decor Once your main furniture is in place, the smaller pieces matter just as much. It's easy to overdo it with decor, especially when everything looks good in a showroom or online. But slow living works better when you personalize, like a single lamp where you sit at night, a bowl that holds your keys so they don't scatter, or a throw you actually use, not one that matches a color scheme. These details should make your day easier, not busier. Your home feels lighter when your accessories are chosen carefully. You don't feel the need to constantly rearrange or replace things because you saw a home design trend on Facebook; instead, you choose items that feel right and leave the rest out. Sets a Calmer Pace for Your Everyday Life The way your furniture is made influences how you live with it. When a table feels solid and dependable, you use it comfortably, and when a chair holds up year after year, you stop thinking about replacing it. Those small shifts reduce the constant cycle of upgrading and create a home that feels stable rather than temporary. In a fast-moving city like Miami, that stability makes a difference. You may not slow the pace outside, but you can create a space that does not demand constant change. Choosing furniture built with care and designed to last supports a calmer, more intentional rhythm at home. By ML staff. Image courtesy of Unsplash
- What to Expect When Ordering Custom Amish Furniture Online in Miami
If you live in Miami, you already know how easy it is to buy furniture. You can walk into a showroom, pick something off the floor, and have it delivered within days. But fast doesn't always mean lasting. That's why many homeowners start searching online for custom Amish furniture instead. You're not just looking for something that fills a space now; you want something built with intention, that feels solid and permanent in your home. However, ordering custom furniture outside the state isn't the same as buying something ready-made. The timeline and process are different. You'll get frustrated if you think it's supposed to move like mass-produced furniture. Before placing that order from the comfort of your home in Miami, do you really know what to expect? Choosing the Right Online Amish Furniture Store in Miami Not all online Amish furniture stores operate the same way. Before you place an order, look closely at how the company explains its process. A reliable seller is clear about where the furniture is built, how long production usually takes, and how shipping is handled. If those details are vague or hard to find, that’s a red flag. You want transparency from the start, not after you’ve paid. It also helps to see how the company handles communication. Are order details documented clearly? Do they explain what happens if there’s a delay or a delivery issue? Can you reach someone easily if you have a question? A trustworthy Amish Furniture store does not avoid these topics. It lays out expectations plainly so you can decide with confidence. When the process is explained upfront, you are less likely to hesitate or second-guess your purchase later. Production Timeline: How Long It Takes Once your order is accepted, it is added to the production schedule. The workshop builds plans in batches based on the design type, wood availability, and its current workload. Because of that, the timeline you receive is a projected range, not a guaranteed delivery date. On average, production takes about eight to sixteen weeks. More detailed or highly customized pieces may fall toward the longer end of that range since they are built from scratch based on your selections. As the build progresses, communication happens at practical checkpoints. The workshop will contact you once your order is confirmed, nearly completed, and ready for delivery. Support tools such as live chat make it easy for you to get clarifications during the process. In some cases, you'll be given a few days to make changes. Why Amish Furniture Costs More Than Mass-Produced Pieces When you compare prices, the gap can feel wide. A custom piece built in a small workshop will almost always cost more than something pulled from a warehouse rack. The difference starts with the materials. Solid hardwood costs more than composite boards, and working with it takes more time. Add to that the hours spent cutting, fitting, sanding, and finishing by hand, and the price begins to reflect the time involved, not just the final shape. Other factors also affect the number. The type of wood you select makes a difference; so does the size of the piece, any adjustments to standard dimensions, and the finish you choose. Larger items cost more to transport because they take up more truck space and require more handling. None of this is hidden. The final price is shaped by your material choices, the amount of labor required, and the logistics of getting a heavy piece safely to Miami. Pricing and Payment Expectations Shipping solid-wood furniture to Miami is not priced like a small online purchase. A heavy, solid-wood table or a complete set of handmade dining chairs takes up real space on a truck, and that space is planned in advance. For many retailers, shipping may start around $299 for standard curbside delivery on orders over $2,000. That covers basic drop-off service and scheduled freight handling. If you prefer more assistance, such as bringing the piece inside and placing it where you want it, white-glove delivery can cost $440 or more, depending on the size of the order and the service level selected. Oversized pieces, multi-item shipments, or homes that require extra handling can increase the total further. Amish Furniture Shipping to Miami Amish furniture shipping doesn't ship like a boxed item from a retail warehouse. It gets loaded onto a truck that is already running a route. That truck may have several stops before it reaches Miami. A shipping company handles the long stretch, and once it gets closer to South Florida, delivery partners take over for the final drop. That is why you are given a delivery window instead of an exact time. The truck is moving through a schedule, not making a single direct trip just for you. Before it ships, you choose how it will be delivered. Standard Delivery usually means the piece is brought to your entry area. White Glove Inside Delivery Service means the crew brings it inside, places it where you want it, and removes the wrapping. The delivery service you choose will call to set a date once your order is ready. Returns, Adjustments, and First-Time Buyer Tips When furniture is built just for you, returning it is not as simple as dropping a shirt off at a store. It was made to your size, your finish, and your preferences. Because of that, sending it back usually means covering freight again, and there may be a deduction since it cannot always be resold easily. That said, returns are typically possible in specific situations, such as manufacturing defects, documented shipping damage, or a clear retailer error in what was built or delivered. Those issues are handled differently from simple changes of mind, which is why it helps to review your selections carefully before production begins. If this is your first time ordering a custom item, you do not have to start with a full dining room set or bedroom suite. Many buyers begin with smaller pieces, such as chairs, especially in Miami homes where gatherings are common. It gives you a chance to see the craftsmanship and finish up close without committing to a larger purchase. Once you feel comfortable with the process and the quality, placing a bigger order feels far less stressful. Know What You're Saying Yes To So what should you really expect when you order custom Amish furniture online from Miami? You should expect a slower pace, clearer decisions, scheduled freight delivery, and shared responsibility on delivery day. When you understand that the process is structured and intentional, not rushed, it feels far more manageable. Custom furniture rewards preparation. The more deliberate you are at the beginning, the smoother everything feels at the end. When expectations are realistic, there is less hesitation, fewer surprises, and more satisfaction once the piece is in your home. By ML staff. Photo by Pickawood on Unsplash

- The Invisible Signature: Handcrafted Inset Cabinetry for South Florida's Private Sanctuaries
In South Florida’s most refined homes, luxury rarely announces itself. It lives in proportion, in restraint, in the precision of details that feel effortless at first glance. The kitchen, often open to light-filled living spaces and expansive views, carries that responsibility with quiet confidence. Homeowners exploring custom inset cabinetry options tend to share a similar instinct: they notice what most people overlook. The reveal around a door. The way a drawer sits. The calm order of a room where nothing feels improvised. Inset cabinetry rewards that eye. Doors sit flush within their frames. Lines align cleanly. Every margin is deliberate. The result reads as seamless, composed, and built to last. Inset cabinetry also suits the region’s architectural clarity. In spaces shaped by glass, water, and natural light, craftsmanship becomes the signature. Subtle. Exact. Once you see it, you can’t unsee it. Precision as Architecture Inset cabinetry calls for a higher level of craftsmanship than standard construction. Each door and drawer is precisely fitted within the cabinet frame, sitting flush inside its opening rather than overlaying it, a detail that leaves little room for imperfection. That choice narrows the margin for error. It calls for tighter tolerances, steadier hands, and a deep respect for proportion. When it’s done well, the effect feels architectural. Cabinetry reads as part of the structure itself, not an added layer. That sensibility has roots in traditional millwork, where alignment and symmetry carried their own kind of prestige. In a world that moves quickly, it’s a relief to encounter work that’s unapologetically slow. Inset faces don’t forgive shortcuts. They insist on accuracy, and they show it every time the light hits the plane of a cabinet front. There’s a tactile difference, too. Inset doors close with a measured fit that feels deliberate in the hand. Hardware reads purposeful rather than decorative. Painted finishes often look cleaner because shadows fall evenly across flush planes, without the visual interruption of projecting edges. These details register almost subconsciously. A kitchen with this kind of order tends to feel calmer, even when it’s busy. For contemporary South Florida homes, that calm matters. Many layouts favor long sightlines and open plans. The kitchen is rarely tucked away. It’s in full view from the living room, the dining area, and sometimes even the outdoor lounge. Cabinetry that integrates seamlessly into its frame supports that openness. It doesn’t compete with the space. It gives the room structure, then recedes. Designed for South Florida Light South Florida homes are shaped by brightness. Glass expanses replace solid walls. Kitchens flow into living areas and out toward terraces where water and sky become part of the interior palette. In that setting, cabinetry has to feel intentional without adding visual weight. Inset construction supports that clarity. Because each door sits within its frame, surfaces appear flatter and more controlled. Light moves evenly across them, casting refined shadows that highlight precision rather than bulk. The effect is subtle but unmistakable. Lines read cleaner. Corners feel sharper. The room settles into balance. Designers return to the same fundamentals when discussing kitchens that endure: proportion, material integrity, and millwork that feels integral to the architecture, a philosophy echoed in conversations around kitchen design secrets from top designers where restraint and disciplined construction consistently outweigh surface-level flourishes. This restraint also plays beautifully with coastal modern interiors. Pale woods and warm whites feel crisp rather than cold when framed by clean inset lines. Soft grays read more intentional. Saturated blues and deep charcoals look tailored, like a perfectly cut jacket. The cabinetry becomes a quiet grid that organizes the room, letting stone veining, sculptural lighting, and natural views hold their place. When sunlight pours across a flush cabinet front and reveals nothing out of alignment, the craftsmanship speaks without needing to raise its voice. The room feels composed. Intentional. Built to belong in its surroundings. A Private Expression of Luxury The most compelling kitchens in South Florida homes share a certain restraint. They are expansive yet controlled, refined without feeling ornamental. Every surface contributes to a larger composition. Inset cabinetry plays a quiet role in that balance, anchoring the room with structure and rhythm. Because the doors and drawers sit within a defined frame, the cabinetry reads as permanent. It feels built into the architecture rather than installed within it. Over time, that distinction matters. Trends shift. Hardware changes. Countertops are replaced. Millwork with disciplined proportions stays relevant, even as styles evolve around it. At this level, inset cabinetry moves beyond preference and into principle. It becomes a reflection of how someone wants to live. There’s confidence in choosing something that doesn’t rely on spectacle. There’s patience in investing in work that demands precision. And there’s a kind of quiet pleasure in knowing that the beauty is in the fit, the alignment, the way the whole room holds together. Across luxury kitchen remodel trends shaping high-end South Florida homes , the throughline is rarely about decoration alone. The strongest spaces lean on cohesion: clean lines, grounded materials, and cabinetry that respects the geometry of the room. When millwork aligns with architecture, the entire interior feels settled, like it has always belonged. Inset construction reflects a particular standard. It’s the choice you make when you care about what happens at the edges, where most of the room’s credibility is either earned or lost. It suggests a homeowner who values craft over noise, and longevity over quick hits of novelty. In a place defined by light and openness, restraint leaves the strongest impression. Handcrafted inset cabinetry becomes the invisible signature of a home shaped by care, precision, and lasting beauty. By ML staff. Photo by Tatiana Lucena on Unsplash

Spend at least five minutes stretching, doing strength-training exercises, or walking. And eat something healthy, like carrots and hummus or a banana with peanut butter. Pack your lunch for the next day so you don’t have to think about it in the morning. Start dimming the lights before bed. And commit to turning off your laptop or television at least half an hour before bed so you can get a better night's sleep. Choose the Right Supplements While eating a healthy diet is important, introducing supplements can boost your health even more. If you’re not getting enough Vitamin D through your normal food selections, the vitamin D3 + K2 supplement promoted in the Uber Net affiliate program can be a convenient way to help fill the gap. Other beneficial supplement options include magnesium or omega-3s, both of which are easy to add to your breakfast or bedtime routine. Just be sure to consult your doctor before making any changes to your supplement regimen. Focus on Nutrient-Rich Meals Even if you don’t have a lot of time for cooking, you can still create nutritious meals. Make lean proteins, leafy greens, and robust fruits the centerpiece of every meal you eat. Try introducing more lentils, beans, and fish, like salmon, into your diet for added protein and fiber. Have hard-boiled eggs, chopped vegetables, and whole-grain bread ready for days when you need to grab a snack or light meal quickly. Avoid stocking your pantry with chips and other processed foods. And try eating multiple smaller meals throughout the day so you’re less likely to binge at night. Make Your Wellness Routine Realistic Exercise doesn’t need to dominate your life. And you don’t need bulky or expensive equipment to get in better shape. Instead, a few simple items and some scheduling efforts can make a difference. Do a 20-minute walk to start your day, or join a fitness class at your local rec center. Take the steps at work and park further away from the entrance to encourage more walking. Use a set of dumbbells or kettlebells to add some strength-training to your routine. Create a Healthier Lifestyle You don’t have to make a sweeping overhaul to your lifestyle to support better wellness. Commit to more nutritional meals, light exercise, and intentional hydration. Add supplements to fill gaps and give your body the boost it needs. With a few simple changes, you’ll be able to maintain a healthier lifestyle as a busy professional. By ML staff. - Bump in the City: Supportive Style for Expecting Moms
Supportive clothing can be a complete game-changer when you are pregnant. Not only does it make regular activities easier, but it can also reduce pain, soreness, and fatigue as you get further along in your pregnancy. Here are a few of the biggest benefits. Photo by freestocks , Unsplash Manage Swelling Swelling is something almost every expectant mom will experience, and it can start to set in much sooner than you may think. Because of this, investing in a pair of compression socks or maternity compression stockings is a must. This is particularly important for those who still need to spend extended periods on their feet while pregnant, as your ankles, feet, and even knees can swell quickly without the right compression clothing. Reduced Pressure on Back, Shoulders & Neck Back, shoulder, and neck pain will only become more and more common as your pregnancy continues. The extra weight on the front of your body will cause you to hunch, roll your shoulders, and you will constantly feel like you are carrying something heavy. However, compression tops help distribute the weight across your body, similar to how backpack straps distribute the bag's weight across your back and shoulders. While it won’t fully relieve the pressure, it will be sufficient to keep you comfortable. It will also help you do the stretches and exercises you want to reduce pain in these areas. Improved Posture Speaking of hunched backs and rolled shoulders, pregnancy will also disrupt your posture. The extra weight will make you want to bend over at the hips more, and on tough days, you may struggle to sit up straight at all. However, due to how compression clothing works, you will be able to maintain your posture and prevent further strain and stress on your lower back, neck, and even hips. Reduces Pelvic Pressure Pelvic pressure is another common issue that you may face, and compression clothing can help reduce it. In short, the pressure is caused by your growing stomach pushing down on your pelvis. Compression clothing and a pelvic belt can help lift the stomach to relieve some of the pressure you feel, and will help to stabilize the pelvis. Long-term pelvic strain can also be felt after you give birth if you don’t manage it while pregnant. Photo by Anastasiia Chepinska , Unsplash Reduces Muscle Fatigue Muscle fatigue is another issue you will face, and it is almost unavoidable. Carrying the extra weight will put pressure on almost every muscle in your body, and even walking is going to feel incredibly tiring after only a few minutes. Compression clothing reduces this by reducing the need for your body to balance and stabilize itself, allowing you to reduce the amount of effort you need for everyday tasks. Supports Your Growing Belly As your stomach grows, the need for more support increases almost drastically from day to day. When combined with the muscle pain, joint pain, swelling, etc, being uncomfortable for almost the entire time you are awake can be a reality. Additionally, you may experience an uncomfortable pulling and stretching sensation as your belly grows, and supportive clothing can help reduce pain. Improved Support When Moving Simple movements also become exceptionally uncomfortable as your pregnancy progresses. Whether it is walking, bending, lying down, or even just standing, pregnancy can make these activities more difficult. However, supportive clothing and belly bands can make moving easier and more comfortable. Once again, it isn’t a perfect fix, but supportive clothing will keep you comfortable for most of the day. Helps with Recovery This varies from person to person, but muscle and joint pain is expected to some degree during pregnancy. The main problem is that there isn’t a ton you can do about it, especially in the later stages of your pregnancy. Supportive clothing can improve your chances of recovery. As mentioned before, support clothing reduces pelvic pressure and stress on your shoulders, back, and other areas, making recovery easier. Short-Term Support for Long-Term Comfort One mistake that many expectant moms make when it comes to supportive clothing is that they choose to wear it too late. While it isn’t necessary in the beginning, you should start wearing supportive clothing earlier than you think. This is because you don’t want to start feeling the strains and pains from pregnancy and then start wearing supportive clothing, as the benefits won’t be as great, as you will already be in pain and uncomfortable. Starting support early can save you from long-term pains, even after you have given birth. Photo by Nappy , Unsplash Makes Daily Tasks Easier Finally, unless you have a team of people to do everything for you, you aren’t going to be able to sit and relax all day, every day, when pregnant. You may still need to cook, clean, pick a child up from school, etc. The last thing you want is for even the most basic of tasks to be a chore and something you don’t look forward to doing, even though you need to do it. Supportive clothing can help keep you active and relatively pain-free, and allow you to go about your day-to-day tasks without much difficulty. By ML Staff.
