- Dario Cecchini Brings His Music, Meats and Mayhem to the Patio at Continuum for the 25th Annual South Beach Wine & Food Festival
World’s Most Famous Butcher joins Chef Claudio Lobina at the iconic Miami Beach residences for a seventh annual intimate dinner. Dario Cecchini Continuum, South Florida’s premier resort-style oceanfront condominium residences, participated in its seventh year for the 25th annual Food Network South Beach Wine & Food Festival presented by Capital One (SOBEWFF®) on Saturday, February 21st, with an exclusive dinner hosted by the legendary butcher from Chianti, Dario Cecchini . The Patio restaurant at the Continuum in Miami Beach presented an exquisite Italian themed evening of culinary excellence, and saw the return of the “World’s Most Famous Butcher ,” after his inaugural attendance during the property’s debut participation at the festival back in 2020. Due to a high demand by residents for his return to The Patio, Chef Dario joined forces once again with Executive Chef Claudio Lobina for the exclusive event, as part of the festival’s Intimate Dinner Series that was sponsored by Fantini wines from Italy. Continuum residents and public ticket holders enjoyed a sumptuous four-course dinner menu, featuring a collaborative presentation of colossal meats off the grill and Italian style delicacies by Chef Claudio Lobina and his team. Chef Claudio Lobina (L), Rishi Idnani, Dario Cecchini Guests were welcomed to The Patio restaurant with a live “Italian swing” musical performance by Italian Music Entertainment , led by Sandro Travarelli, as attendees mingled at the pre-dinner cocktail reception. After guests were shown to their seats, a welcome speech was given by Dale Gomez from FIU’s Chaplin School of Hospitality and Tourism Management, and Valentino Sciotti from Fantini wines. Chef Dario blew his signature trumpet to mark the commencement of the evening’s festivities for the event’s attendees. Marta Lavandier (L), J.M Hirsch, Gilcia Marquez, Michael Pronesti, Steve Brenner & Lisa Hagendorf “Our seventh year of participation during this year’s South Beach Wine & Food Festival proved to be a memorable event,” says Rishi Idnani, Managing Director of the Continuum. “Chef Dario has become part of The Patio restaurant family here at Continuum, so we had to bring him back for a second year much to the delight of residents and his avid followers. This festive celebration gave attendees a world-class experience in Italian-style barbeque and gourmet delicacies from regional Italy, made popular by our very own Chef Claudio Lobina. On behalf of the entire Continuum management team, I would like to thank the festival’s organizing committee, together with the sponsors and our patrons for helping to make this year’s dinner a resounding success. We’re thrilled to celebrate the festival’s 25 th Anniversary.” Dario Cecchini (L) Chef Claudio Lobina Before main dishes were served, the colorful chef personality proceeded to blow his signature horn to alert guests to the start of his popular spectacle and dinner entertainment show. Displayed high above the center dining tables was a 4-foot cut of meat that Chef Dario towered over with his butcher’s knife as “Hell’s Bells” by AC/DC began to play over the restaurant’s speakers. The Italian Butcher began cutting the raw meat in to large cuts that he then tossed in to the unsuspecting crowd. Guests were then treated to the prime cuts of meat, cooked on a giant grill located alongside The Patio restaurant. Dario Cecchini meat tossing Chef Lobina joined forces with Cecchini to bring his own flavors of the Italian and Mediterranean region to form a truly eclectic menu. Guests enjoyed an exclusive menu comprising of Crostino di Chianti Crudo, Porcini mushroom and black truffle cake, Pumpkin risotto with speck crumbles, La Nostra Francesina with Braised Beef and Onion, Bistecca Fiorentina (Florentine Style Porterhouse), and homemade tiramisu. Each course was paired with a selection of Italian wines courtesy of Fantini from the Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits portfolio. Tirimasu and trumpet By ML Staff. Photos/Continuum
- Florida Power and Light Shares Energy-Saving Tips for Cold Weather
As temperatures drop across the state, Florida Power & Light Company (FPL) is providing customers with strategies to manage energy consumption. Heating a home uses two to three times more energy than cooling, making preparation essential during cold snaps. To manage costs, FPL recommends setting the thermostat to a comfortable level. Customers can save up to 5% on heating costs for every degree the thermostat is set below 68. The company advises against raising the thermostat by more than two degrees at a time. This prevents the system's auxiliary heating from activating, which can add up to $15 per day if used for over 12 hours. For localized warmth, FPL suggests using space heaters in occupied rooms rather than heating the entire house. Space heaters should feature thermostats and timers for control and must be kept away from furniture and drapes. Users should turn off the heaters when leaving a room and keep children and pets at least three feet away. FPL also advises against using extension cords with these devices. Other methods to stay warm include wearing layers and using electric blankets. Reversing the direction of a ceiling fan pushes warmer air down, though the fan should be turned off when the room is empty. Sealing doors and windows with weatherstripping or caulk keeps warm air inside. For homes with fireplaces, the damper should remain closed when not in use to prevent heat from escaping. J.T. Young, FPL Vice President and General Manager, noted that planning ahead and making adjustments can help customers keep their bills low throughout the season. Customers can visit Ways to Save to access tools like the Energy Manager and find information on programs and rebates. Additional tips are available at the House of Savings . By ML Staff. - Acqua di Parma Celebrates 110 Years With Colonia Il Profumo Millesimato Limited Edition
This year, Acqua di Parma marks 110 years since the creation of Colonia , the fragrance that defined its identity and introduced a distinct Italian approach to perfumery. Founded in Parma in 1916 by Baron Carlo Magnani , the Maison emerged in contrast to the heavy French perfumes of the time. Colonia was conceived as a personal expression of Italian elegance—light, luminous, and restrained. Parma’s long tradition of culture, craftsmanship, and perfumery, shaped in part by Maria Luigia of Habsburg, provided the foundation for this vision. Colonia as a Cultural Icon Over the decades, Colonia remained central to the Maison. The Art Deco bottle introduced in the 1930s, with its black Bakelite cap, became a lasting design signature. In the 1950s, the fragrance became associated with Italian cinema and tailoring, worn discreetly on linen pocket squares. In the 1990s, Acqua di Parma was revived by Luca Cordero di Montezemolo , Diego Della Valle , and Paolo Borgomanero , reinforcing sprezzatura, an effortless approach to elegance. The Maison joined the LVMH Group in 2001, expanding globally while preserving its identity. Colonia Il Profumo Millesimato To mark the anniversary, Acqua di Parma introduces Colonia Il Profumo Millesimato , a limited edition created by perfumer Alexis Dadier . The fragrance is built around the 2024 harvest of Ylang-Ylang from Nosy Be , Madagascar, distilled over 24 hours and carefully fractionated. Italian bergamot, blood orange, petitgrain, and grapefruit open the composition, while rosemary, orange leaves absolute, patchouli, and vetiver provide structure. The Ylang-Ylang enhances depth and radiance, offering a new perspective on Colonia Il Profumo while remaining faithful to its original character. Design and the Art of Living The fragrance is presented in a glass bottle with embossed architectural details and a back label highlighting its craftsmanship and composition. It is housed in Acqua di Parma’s yellow hatbox, marked with a golden medal commemorating the 110th anniversary and the 2024 harvest. Alongside the fragrance, the Maison introduces new Art of Living objects designed to elevate daily rituals, including Via Con Me Scent to Go , candle accessories, modular candle holders, and the Sotto Sopra Candle Set . Availability Colonia Il Profumo Millesimato is now available at the Acqua di Parma boutique in Brickell City Centre , online at Bloomingdales.com , and on Acquadiparma.com . By ML Staff. - Stanek Gallery: Little River’s Destination for Art, Design, and Bespoke Installations
In Miami’s rapidly evolving Little River neighborhood, where creative energy meets design-forward living, Stanek Gallery has quickly become a must-visit destination for collectors, designers, and anyone seeking art that feels both luxurious and deeply personal. Since opening its Miami location in October 2024, owner and curator Katherine Stanek has established the gallery as a powerful voice in the city’s cultural landscape. Her approach is defined by bold aesthetics, close artist relationships, and a rare ability to match extraordinary artwork with the spaces that need it most. Stanek is no newcomer to the art world. For more than a decade, she has led Stanek Gallery in Philadelphia, building a reputation for presenting compelling contemporary artists and participating in prestigious art fairs. An artist and avid collector herself, she curates with both instinct and intention. The result is a program that feels personal, global, and unmistakably current, where meaningful art and design intersect with lifestyle. The Miami gallery reflects that vision. Equal parts exhibition space and art consultancy, Stanek Gallery offers a tailored approach to collecting that resonates with Miami’s architecture and design culture. Stanek works closely with collectors, designers, and developers, often visiting homes or commercial spaces to understand how art can elevate an environment. Her ability to immediately understand what a space needs has made her a trusted advisor for those seeking not just artwork, but a cohesive visual experience. Having a third eye for art collection is part instinct and part relationship-building. Stanek maintains close connections with the artists she represents allowing the gallery freedom to assist in the creation of custom solutions that feel completely unique to each client and space. Many of the artists on the roster offer bespoke commissions, from large-scale installations and murals to custom paintings and sculpture. These projects often extend beyond the gallery walls into private residences, hospitality spaces, and public settings across the country and internationally, with the Stanek team guiding each project from concept through installation. A recent example of this collaborative spirit is Readymade Sunshine, the gallery’s two-person exhibition featuring Carson Fox and Isabella Del Signore. On view from January 10 through March 8, 2026, the show transformed the Little River space into an immersive landscape of color, joy, and imaginative play. It quickly became one of the gallery’s most talked-about presentations, generating strong engagement from collectors and a highly responsive online audience. Fox, a New York–based sculptor known for her luminous resin installations, presented a striking eight-by-seven-foot floral installation composed entirely of hand-cast resin flowers. Designed specifically for the exhibition, the work demonstrated her ability to transform architectural spaces through color, texture, and light. Her installations are fully customizable and created in dialogue with each site. They have appeared in schools, offices, hospitals, libraries, and private residences. For Miami collectors and developers seeking a statement piece that merges craftsmanship with spectacle, Fox’s work offers both visual impact and emotional depth. Del Signore, known for her vibrant, narrative-driven paintings under the name Bella Lucy, brought a different kind of immersive energy. Her large-scale canvases, filled with playful text and imaginative characters, extended beyond their frames into mural-like environments that wrapped around the gallery walls. Each mural can be adapted to a collector’s space, making her an ideal collaborator for residential, hospitality, or commercial projects that call for color, personality, and a sense of joy. Her process begins with written mantras centered on joy and connection, which shape the emotional tone of each work and create environments that feel uplifting and alive. Together, the artists embodied Stanek Gallery’s signature balance of luxury and fun. The work is visually striking yet emotionally accessible, serious in craftsmanship yet joyful in spirit. The response to Readymade Sunshine confirmed the gallery’s ability to present installations that are both unforgettable and highly collectible. While the physical exhibition is closing, both artists remain available for commissions. Stanek serves as the central point of contact for projects in Miami and beyond, coordinating site visits, customization, and installation. “The gallery is my canvas. With every exhibition, my goal is to create a unique experience that is as engaging as each individual work on display, while emphasizing the artist’s vision. For Readymade Sunshine, Fox and Del Signore made my job easy. They brought with them new and interesting work, a clear vision, and literal tools to install their authentic voice. You will not see another show like this one.” - Katherine Stanek, Owner and Director Featured works by Carson Fox and Isabella Del Signore in Readymade Sunshine, on display until March 8th. As Miami continues to grow as a global art and design capital, Katherine Stanek stands out as a tastemaker and trusted guide for collectors. Her Little River gallery offers more than exhibitions. It provides a curated entry point into a world where custom installations, meaningful collecting, and memorable visual experiences come together. For those looking to elevate a home, business, or public space, Stanek Gallery has become a destination where vision meets execution and where the right artwork can transform the way a space is experienced. - Driven by Luxury: Exploring Dubai Through Car Rental Freedom
Dubai is not a city that is simply visited — it is experienced in motion. Across the sparkling heart of Dubai, the wide highways run through the towering buildings of the future, desert roads run to golden horizons, and the coast crosses the calm waters of the Arabian Gulf. Unlike compact European capitals, Dubai was built for driving. Distances are larger, districts are spread out, and major attractions sit along modern expressways. The freedom to move at any hour changes the rhythm of a trip. Morning coffee in Downtown. Afternoon by the beach. Evening in the desert. Travel here depends as much on the road as on the destination itself. The Art of Arrival: Choosing the Right Rental Car Dubai local culture includes car rental. The city is a place of design, performance, and status, and cars are indicative of that nature. Image by Johnathan Mark / Unsplash Luxury sedans glide past five-star hotels. SUVs move confidently along wide boulevards. Supercars blend into daily traffic with surprising ease. Some travelers explore the Lamborghini rental fleet from Renty.ae to add excitement to their stay. Smooth highways such as Sheikh Zayed Road create the perfect setting for bold styling and precision engineering. Others prefer quiet refinement. Rolls-Royce for rent options suit business meetings and elegant evenings. The selection ranges from practical economy models to high-performance vehicles and full exotic car rental categories. Booking is also straightforward, and daily plans and weekly plans are offered to accommodate both short and long-term visits. The nature of the city is ambitious, polished, and efficient, which is reflected in the rental market of Dubai. Driving through contrasts: from desert silence to urban pulse There are not many places where such a dramatic change can be found within a few miles of driving. At the beginning of the day, the road can run through open desert scenery with no horizon at all. To rent a Lamborghini Dubai with Renty is to experience that contrast firsthand. The engine is speeding through sun-bathed desert highways one moment, then the skyscrapers of Dubai Marina are glimmering in reflections. A single route might include: Traditional souks and cultural neighborhoods Expansive shopping malls Beachfront promenades Infrastructure shapes this experience. Roads remain wide and clearly marked. In many large cities, traffic overshadows enjoyment. In Dubai, driving often becomes part of the attraction. Practical luxury: more than appearance Behind the glamour stands a structured system. Rental providers maintain vehicles through professional car workshop facilities and scheduled servicing. Airport delivery and hotel drop-off services are common. Rental periods range from single days to extended arrangements. Prices vary according to category, allowing travelers to match the vehicle to their plans. Style and organization work side by side in Dubai’s rental sector. Beyond the skyline: exploring further The experience continues outside the city. A rental car opens access to other parts of the United Arab Emirates. Highways in the desert are glowing. There are long spans of uninterrupted road that produce a sense of space that is rare. Driving becomes not only a means of transportation but a method of viewing the region on a larger scale. Conclusion: when the road becomes the highlight Dubai reshapes expectations of travel. Contemporary buildings are the products of desert scenery, and comfort blends with construction everywhere. Dubai car renting gives flexibility, independence, and a closer attachment to the environment. Here, the road does not sit in the background. It defines the experience itself. By ML Staff.
