- Fondation Louis Vuitton Announces Major Gerhard Richter Retrospective
The Fondation Louis Vuitton is presenting a major retrospective dedicated to Gerhard Richert, one of the most influential contemporary artists, from October 17, 2025 to March 2, 2026. Gerhard Richter, Apfelbaume [Apple Trees], 1987 Featuring 270 works stretching from 1962 to 2024, the exhibition for the first time offers a comprehensive view of over six decades of works, revealing the wealth and complexity of an artist who continually explored the realm of painting. Gerhard Richter was among the artists featured in the opening exhibition of the Fondation Louis Vuitton , displaying works from the Foundation’s Collection. The upcoming retrospective is unprecedented in depth and scope. It retraces the evolution of an oeuvre that has always transcended genres, spanning figurative and abstract, experimentations with chance, as well as memories both personal and collective. Defying any categorization, Richter’s work moves from portraits to landscapes, or still lifes to history painting. He systematically filters reality through an intermediary medium – a photograph, drawing or printed image – to construct a new, autonomous work. Curated by Dieter Schwarz and Nicholas Serota, the retrospective follows a chronological order, with each section spanning a decade, revealing a vision shaped at the same time by ruptures, experiments and continuity. It includes emblematic works such as Onkel Rudi , Tante Marianne , 48 Portraits , and the October 18, 1977 series – exceptionally on loan from MoMA – as well as the recent abstractions, Birkenau . Through paintings, sculptures, glass and steel sculptures, drawings, watercolors and overpainted photographs, the exhibition reflects a constant desire to challenge the very language of painting. - GGA Gallery Announces Beyond: Echoes of a Borderless Life a Dual Solo Exhibition by Artists Millo and Seth
Two globally celebrated muralists explore travel, memory and emotive imagination through divergent styles. Goldman Global Arts Gallery (GGA Gallery), a driving force in redefining street and contemporary art, is thrilled to unveil Beyond: Echoes of a borderless life , a rare dual solo exhibition from two prominent figures in the global street art movement: Millo (Italy) and Seth (France). Opening September 3, 2025, the show will run through November 16, 2025, at the gallery located inside the iconic Wynwood Walls– the world’s largest outdoor street art museum. Beyond: Echoes of a borderless life explores the inner and outer worlds of the two artists whose murals span more than 50 countries, each bringing a singular visual language to a shared pursuit of emotional resonance, human connection and shared nostalgia of childhood. Millo is known for his black-and-white architectural dreamscapes, animated by oversized, whimsical characters who navigate love, vulnerability and introspection amid cityscapes. Seth’s brightly colored murals feature faceless children suspended in moments of quiet reverie, presenting an open invitation into realms of nostalgia, memory and reverie. Though visually distinct, both artists are united by a practice shaped by travel, empathy and imagination. They approach walls not as blank canvases but as living parts of the communities they inhabit, mirroring local stories and building bridges across cultures. The exhibition will include 15 new works from each artist, a collaborative work created exclusively for Beyond: Echoes of a borderless life , and a site-specific installation for Goldman Global Arts Gallery. The centerpiece video installation connects the two artists’ journeys around the globe– pairing murals created in the same cities across time, including Mumbai, Shanghai, Lwala and Le Mans– offering a poetic visual map of their artistic paths. “Bringing Millo and Seth together for Beyond is more than a celebration of their individual talents– it’s a testament to the power of art to bridge cultures, encourage empathy and connect us across borders. At a time when the world often feels fractured, their works remind us of our shared humanity,” says Jessica Goldman Srebnick, CEO of Goldman Global Arts. “At Goldman Global Arts, we believe in the power of art to inspire, create moments of reflection, and instill hope. This must-see exhibition embodies that vision beautifully. When others are leaning away from art, we are leaning in.” Goldman Global Arts Gallery is located within Wynwood Walls at 2516 NW 2nd Avenue, Miami, FL 33127. - Jessica Goldman Srebnick & GGA Gallery Announces Nocturnal Edens: A Vibrant Solo Exhibition by Artist Logan Hicks
New York-based artist Logan Hicks debuts a lush new body of work inspired by the stillness, neon glow and tropical surrealism of Miami and New York’s urban landscapes. Goldman Global Arts Gallery (GGA Gallery), a driving force in redefining street and contemporary art, is thrilled to unveil Nocturnal Edens , a solo exhibition by New York-based artist Logan Hicks . On view from September 3, 2025, through October 19, 2025, at the gallery located within Miami’s iconic Wynwood Walls, the exhibition marks a tonal evolution in Hick’s practice– infusing his iconic photorealistic stencil work with botanical motifs, tropical surrealism of Miami’s iconic Art Deco architecture and the nostalgic glow of New York’s stillness. Capturing the liminal hours between dusk and dawn in Miami and New York, Nocturnal Edens reimagines cityscapes as living, breathing entities that pulse with light, shadow and memory. Hicks transforms familiar architecture into meditative dreamscapes, using neon glow and floral patterning to soften rigid lines and highlight the serenity that exists within the urban sprawl. Known for his unparalleled mastery of multilayered stencil technique, Hicks builds each composition from dozens and hand-cut layers– each one a meditation on space, structure and silence. "I think that each artist paints three different types of work. They paint the world that they do live in, the world that they want to live in, or the world that they’re afraid of living in,” says Logan Hicks. “For me, I paint the world that I want to live in. It’s peaceful, calm, and inviting. A world full of reflection and inner peace." The exhibition also features a rare collaborative debut with legendary photojournalist Martha Cooper. The two artists, who share deep Baltimore roots and a long personal friendship, have created a new series that fuses Martha Cooper’s documentary photography with Logan Hick’s meticulous, layered stenciling. It’s a merging of two creative legacies and together, they’re exploring how architecture, memory and the patterns of city life can be captured across mediums and generations. At the heart of the gallery space, visitors will encounter a sculptural replica of Hicks’ studio table, serving as the surface for a projection-mapped installation that reveals his creative process and invites guests deeper into his world. “Logan Hicks has long been a master of capturing the soul of a city through light, architecture and silence. To bring his work to Miami, where a rich architectural history defines our city’s culture, is incredibly exciting,” says Jessica Goldman Srebnick, CEO of Goldman Global Arts. “Logan has long been a cherished member of the Wynwood Walls family, and this exhibition represents the pinnacle of his artistic journey and the evolution of street art. His unique version of architecture as portraiture is powerful, breathtaking and intellectually rich. We are honored to showcase his latest works at the Goldman Global Art Gallery, where we hope to captivate seasoned collectors and ignite a new generation’s passion for the arts.” Goldman Global Arts Gallery is located within Wynwood Walls at 2516 NW 2nd Avenue, Miami, FL 33127. - Santos de Cartier: Petit Modele
The Santos de Cartier watch is an ever-evolving idea, an emblematic design that Cartier has diversified with the creation of a small model whose dimensions echo those of the first historical versions of the watch. This captures the essence of the Santos de Cartier watch, an icon in tune with the pioneering spirit of Alberto Santos-Dumont. Created for him in 1904, it cultivates the same sense of innovation as the aviator. At the time, it was the first modern watch designed to be worn on the wrist. The visible screws of this square watch, traditionally hidden in watchmaking, would become an aesthetic code of the collection. With this small model in both gold and steel, all-steel or all-gold, the style concentrates on proportions. The watch cultivates the same design principles as today’s larger models: pure lines, accuracy of shape and precious details, contrasting with the industrial and mechanical aspect of the visible screws. What’s new, aside from its dimensions (27 mm x 34.5 mm), is the sophistication of its sunray-effect dial and the integration of a high autonomy quartz movement adapted to the smaller size of this Santos watch. This new version is as interchangeable as the collection’s larger models, with a choice of metal bracelet or leather strap. Crafted in smooth calfskin for the non-precious versions and in alligator for the all-gold model, the leather strap is fitted with an ardillon buckle that aligns the piece with the finesse of its case.
