New York-based artist Logan Hicks debuts a lush new body of work inspired by the stillness, neon glow and tropical surrealism of Miami and New York’s urban landscapes.

Goldman Global Arts Gallery (GGA Gallery), a driving force in redefining street and contemporary art, is thrilled to unveil Nocturnal Edens, a solo exhibition by New York-based artist Logan Hicks. On view from September 3, 2025, through October 19, 2025, at the gallery located within Miami’s iconic Wynwood Walls, the exhibition marks a tonal evolution in Hick’s practice– infusing his iconic photorealistic stencil work with botanical motifs, tropical surrealism of Miami’s iconic Art Deco architecture and the nostalgic glow of New York’s stillness.
Capturing the liminal hours between dusk and dawn in Miami and New York, Nocturnal Edens reimagines cityscapes as living, breathing entities that pulse with light, shadow and memory. Hicks transforms familiar architecture into meditative dreamscapes, using neon glow and floral patterning to soften rigid lines and highlight the serenity that exists within the urban sprawl.
Known for his unparalleled mastery of multilayered stencil technique, Hicks builds each composition from dozens and hand-cut layers– each one a meditation on space, structure and silence.
"I think that each artist paints three different types of work. They paint the world that they do live in, the world that they want to live in, or the world that they’re afraid of living in,” says Logan Hicks. “For me, I paint the world that I want to live in. It’s peaceful, calm, and inviting. A world full of reflection and inner peace."
The exhibition also features a rare collaborative debut with legendary photojournalist Martha Cooper. The two artists, who share deep Baltimore roots and a long personal friendship, have created a new series that fuses Martha Cooper’s documentary photography with Logan Hick’s meticulous, layered stenciling. It’s a merging of two creative legacies and together, they’re exploring how architecture, memory and the patterns of city life can be captured across mediums and generations.
At the heart of the gallery space, visitors will encounter a sculptural replica of Hicks’ studio table, serving as the surface for a projection-mapped installation that reveals his creative process and invites guests deeper into his world.
“Logan Hicks has long been a master of capturing the soul of a city through light, architecture and silence. To bring his work to Miami, where a rich architectural history defines our city’s culture, is incredibly exciting,” says Jessica Goldman Srebnick, CEO of Goldman Global Arts. “Logan has long been a cherished member of the Wynwood Walls family, and this exhibition represents the pinnacle of his artistic journey and the evolution of street art. His unique version of architecture as portraiture is powerful, breathtaking and intellectually rich. We are honored to showcase his latest works at the Goldman Global Art Gallery, where we hope to captivate seasoned collectors and ignite a new generation’s passion for the arts.”
