- Gucci Reveals “Generation Gucci” Pre-Fall 2026 Lookbook
The Generation Gucci lookbook is presented as a fictional runway conceived and photographed by Demna, who draws on archival references and visual codes from multiple eras of the House. By merging products and imagery across decades into a single narrative, the project reflects Demna’s ongoing study of Gucci’s history and signals the aesthetic direction he plans to expand on next season. The opening looks focus on lightweight tailoring in archival silk faille woven to create a subtly aged texture. Women’s suiting removes traditional buttons in favor of minimal clasps, forming sculptural two-piece sets with legging-fit trousers and a sharply defined pencil skirt. Seamless jeans feature concealed pockets and closures, while silk travel suits offer the comfort and drape of elevated loungewear. Technical references appear in pieces shaped by surfer wetsuit construction, including a contouring mock-neck top and a body-con leather jacket. Outerwear takes on a textural, handcrafted identity: coats pieced together from shearling, silk, goat hair, and feathers create interlinked patterns over sheer bases. A party wardrobe introduces underwear-inspired silhouettes worn with silk blousons, draped miniskirts with matching tops, and fluid gowns in jersey or silk chiffon. The lookbook revisits House signatures from the 1970s and 1990s. Racer jackets feature the Web stripe, while belts reimagine the Double G buckle in sliced geometric forms. Full leather and suede looks return, along with equestrian-print silk sets referencing vintage scarf designs from the archives. Footwear is defined by sleek lines and lightweight construction. Valigeria-inspired ballerinas reappear in men’s sizes; loafers adopt the softness of dance shoes; stilettos introduce seamless heels with cushioned interiors; and classic loafers trimmed with metal spikes suggest pieces personalized across generations. Accessories extend the dialogue between utility and heritage. The Lunetta Phone+ bag in monogram canvas and chainmail is structured around everyday essentials. The Jackie 1961 is reimagined as a compact rectilinear shape or expanded into a softened, oversized form in calfskin and crocodile. The Dionysus takes on a sharper, more angular silhouette. Believe.,” a concept intended to highlight the convergence of fine craft and unfettered imagination. Curatorial Highlights: Where Craft Meets Fantasy Under “Make. - Michelin-Starred NUB Makes a Limited-Time Miami Debut, and UVA Is Its Stage
Miami’s dining scene continues to attract serious culinary talent, and its latest arrival comes with notable credentials. NUB Restaurante , the Michelin-starred restaurant from Tenerife in the Canary Islands, is launching a three-month pop-up at UVA Restaurant & Bar inside Novotel Miami Brickell beginning December 12. The collaboration brings a respected European kitchen into a relaxed Brickell setting, an intersection Miami rarely sees. The pop-up is led by three chefs whose combined experience spans continents. Andrea Bernardi, co-founder of NUB, is known for blending precise Italian technique with modern European influences, earning the restaurant a Michelin star and multiple Repsol Suns. His co-founder, Fernanda Fuentes Cárdenas, familiar to viewers of MasterChef Chile and Top Chef VIP Chile , brings a strong Latin American perspective and is celebrated as the first Chilean woman to receive a Michelin star. Joining them is Yohsy Hernandez, UVA’s Cuban-born executive chef, who grounds the project in Miami’s own culinary language through French, Mediterranean and Latin American techniques. “Our goal is to bring fine dining back to what it truly means: sharing exceptional food, culture and connection,” said Bernardi. “This experience is about emotion, not exclusivity.” The six-course tasting menu with optional pairings, reflects that philosophy. The culinary journey continues with another hot section, showcasing “Apionara,” a creative twist on the classic carbonara, made with delicate celery for a vegetal depth that harmonizes with the creamy, comforting sauce. This dish is elevated by a pairing of the aromatic Vermentino di Gallura 2018 from Sardinia, which balances the warmth of the pasta with its crisp, sun-soaked character. The next course is a sophisticated hake dish, served atop a delicate potato mille-feuille and drizzled with a savory, caramelized sea toffee reduction that intensifies the oceanic flavors. This maritime indulgence is complemented by Laurelwood Ponzi Chardonnay 2021 from Oregon’s Willamette Valley, whose rich yet restrained profile mirrors the dish’s layered complexity. The tasting continues with a perfectly cooked lamb accompanied by tangy fermented red cabbage that adds a surprising depth and brightness. This hearty yet refined dish is paired with the Prunotto Barolo Nebbiolo, a red wine from Piedmont with structured tannins and dark fruit notes that elevate the lamb’s savoriness. The finale is a playful, refreshing dessert of creamy stracciatella paired with fresh basil, tomato and a hint of vinegar, offering an interplay of sweet, herbaceous and tangy flavors. This inventive conclusion is paired with Franciacorta Satèn from Lombardy or Moscato d’Asti from Piedmont, providing effervescent elegance and a gentle, aromatic sweetness to round out the tasting. The pop-up runs Tuesday through Saturday from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. through March 13. Reservations are available through OpenTable Experiences . By ML Staff. Content/images courtesy of NUB Restaurante.
