- Fashion 4 Ukraine Makes a Powerful Miami Swim Week Debut
PÁLM SWIM After four successful seasons in New York City, Fashion 4 Ukraine made an unforgettable splash at Miami Swim Week with its inaugural Miami showcase on May 29, transforming the lush grounds of the Miami Beach Botanical Garden into a vibrant celebration of resilience, creativity, and international collaboration. Founded by Ukrainian model and journalist Olga Ivanidi, Fashion 4 Ukraine has become a dynamic platform dedicated to amplifying Ukrainian designers on the global stage. For its Miami debut, the organization brought together 38 models and 10 Ukrainian and American designers, proving that fashion can be both a creative force and a vehicle for cultural connection. PLAYA SOL Set against a magical tropical backdrop of swaying palms and blooming gardens, guests experienced an immersive runway presentation highlighting the diversity and innovation of contemporary swimwear and resort wear. "Even though I’ve produced shows in New York and other states, our inaugural season in Miami felt especially exciting and full of anticipation," said Ivanidi. "Being a trailblazer and advocate means creating opportunities where none existed before, and bringing Ukrainian fashion to Miami Swim Week is something no one had done on this scale." Ivanidi embodied the collaborative spirit of the event through her own look, wearing a dress by New York-based Ukrainian designer Ira Lysa paired with a corset by Ukrainian brand Tonic de Vie. Olga Ivanidi (founder of Fashion 4 Ukraine) "The combination reflected exactly what I want Fashion 4 Ukraine to represent - a platform for collaboration between Ukrainian creatives and meaningful partnerships between Ukrainians and Americans. When we come together we create connection, visibility, and opportunity." Among the evening’s most moving moments was the presentation by PARASOL’KA. Created in Lutsk, Ukraine amid the realities of war, the collection stood as a testament to perseverance and artistic determination. Designed during one of the most intense periods of attacks on the region and shipped to Miami just in time for the show, the collection paired PARASOL’KA’s signature raincoats with embroidered swimsuits by fellow Ukrainian label ZIGZAG, creating a striking visual narrative of protection, hope, and resilience. PARASOL'KA Fashion 4 Ukraine also introduced a promising new voice to the international fashion scene. FABULOUS by Olena Partow, a Ukrainian designer based in Texas, made its runway debut with a whimsical collection featuring playful silhouettes and feminine details. FABULOUS A standout among the featured brands was PÁLM SWM, a Ukrainian-owned swimwear and resort wear label based in Miami and founded in 2021 by designer Khrystyna Malyeryk. At Fashion 4 Ukraine x Miami, the brand presented its latest collection, Beyond the Shore, reimagining swimwear as a versatile wardrobe extending far beyond the beach. Elegant swimsuits paired with sophisticated resort wear pieces reflected the brand’s philosophy of effortless elegance, freedom, and confidence. PÁLM SWIM Despite the challenges many Ukrainian designers continue to face, several brands participated remotely by sending their collections across the Atlantic. ARTGO showcased tan-through and pole dance wear, ALAYA SWIM presented functional tan-through swimwear, and TONIC DE VIE introduced contemporary corsetry. TONIC DE VIE The event’s international perspective extended beyond Ukraine. Returning for a third consecutive Fashion 4 Ukraine season, VAIDA by Tina Vaida delivered its signature blend of affordable luxury swimwear and resort wear. Latin American label PLAYA SOL unveiled its Solstice Sands collection, while Dallas-based brand COTERA, founded by a designer of Indian heritage, impressed audiences with breathable cotton separates and elevated everyday essentials. VAIDA One of the evening’s most memorable collaborations came from Miami-based swimwear designer Kabdul and Ukrainian accessories brand Hinkelman, which paired sleek swimwear with statement leather belt basques. Their partnership perfectly captured the show's central message: creativity flourishes when cultures connect. KABDUL & HINKELMAN The success of Fashion 4 Ukraine's Miami debut was made possible through the support of local Ukrainian-owned businesses and community partners. Guests enjoyed catering by Golden Spoon Catering, floral installations by Alma Floral House, chocolate-covered strawberries by BB Bouquets, and bouquets for designers provided by ROSEMIA. Epic Events illuminated the venue, DJ Roustam curated the soundtrack, Enjoy It Salon hosted a beauty pop-up, and Rogue House Salon served as the official glam sponsor. Media support was provided by the Ukrainian American Business & Innovation Network, with financial support from Ukrainian Federal Credit Union. The event also reflected the growing global reach of Fashion 4 Ukraine, with models traveling from across the United States and around the world, including New York, Texas, and even Australia, to participate. Among the evening’s standout talents was Australian-Ukrainian model Dasha Vinokur, who not only walked the runway but also joined her brother, David Vinokur, for a special intermission performance. The siblings, both Latin dance champions in Australia, energized the audience with a dynamic routine that seamlessly blended fashion and performance. Dasha Vinokur More than a runway show, Fashion 4 Ukraine’s Miami debut celebrated resilience, artistry, and community while demonstrating the transformative power of fashion to connect people across continents. - 6 Ways Geometric Pattern Wallpaper Can Change a Room
Geometric pattern wallpaper is one of the most powerful tools in interior design, and one of the most misunderstood. Many people assume it is a niche choice suited only to contemporary or Scandinavian inspired interiors. In reality, geometric pattern spans an enormous range of styles and works across a much wider variety of rooms and aesthetics than most people give it credit for. Image by DepositPhotos What makes geometric wallpaper particularly valuable is its precision. Where organic patterns like florals or botanicals bring softness and movement, geometric designs bring structure, clarity, and a sense of visual intention that can completely redefine how a room feels. Here are six ways that effect plays out in practice. 1. It Makes Small Rooms Feel Larger One of the most practically useful qualities of geometric pattern wallpaper is its ability to manipulate the perceived dimensions of a room, and this is particularly valuable in smaller spaces where the actual square footage cannot be changed. Vertical geometric patterns, whether narrow stripes, elongated hexagons, or repeating vertical motifs, draw the eye upward and make ceilings feel higher than they are. This is one of the oldest tricks in interior design and it works reliably because of the way human perception processes vertical movement. Horizontal patterns widen a space visually, which is particularly useful in narrow hallways or galley rooms that feel too tunnel-like. Diamond and chevron patterns create diagonal movement that adds dynamism without the rigidity of purely horizontal or vertical designs. 2. It Gives a Neutral Room a Focal Point Many living rooms, bedrooms, and home offices are decorated in neutral tones that are pleasant but ultimately unmemorable. They are safe, inoffensive, and entirely lacking in the kind of character that makes a room feel designed rather than simply furnished. A geometric pattern wallpaper on a single feature wall changes that dynamic immediately. It gives the room a focal point, an anchor around which everything else can be organised, without requiring any changes to the furniture, flooring, or other surfaces. A monochrome geometric print in a room of warm neutrals adds visual weight and structure that makes the entire space feel more intentional. The contrast between the patterned wall and the plain surrounding surfaces is part of what makes the effect work. 3. It Defines Zones in Open Plan Spaces Open plan living has become the dominant layout in modern homes, but it comes with a genuine design challenge: how do you give different areas of the same space distinct identities without physical dividers? Geometric pattern wallpaper is one of the most elegant solutions to that problem. A papered wall behind the dining area in an open plan kitchen-diner creates a visual boundary that separates the eating zone from the cooking zone without any structural intervention. The same principle works in open plan living and working spaces, where a geometric feature wall behind a desk or reading corner defines that area as a distinct zone within the larger room. The pattern provides a visual signal that the space has been deliberately organised, which makes even a simple open plan layout feel more considered and purposeful. 4. It Works Across Multiple Interior Styles The breadth of geometric pattern wallpaper is one of its greatest strengths. Unlike some wallpaper categories that suit a specific aesthetic and struggle outside it, geometric designs appear comfortably across a wide range of interior styles. Simple, clean geometric repeats in muted tones suit Scandinavian and minimalist interiors. Art deco inspired patterns with strong lines and metallic accents suit more glamorous, maximalist spaces. Classic tile and lattice patterns suit traditional and heritage interiors. Bold, graphic geometric prints suit contemporary and urban spaces. The geometric pattern wallpaper collection at Think Noir covers this full range of styles, making it straightforward to find a design that fits your specific interior direction without compromise. Image by DepositPhotos 5. It Adds Depth Without Clutter One of the recurring challenges in interior design is adding visual interest to a room without making it feel cluttered or busy. More furniture, more accessories, and more decorative objects all add interest but they also add visual noise. Geometric pattern wallpaper solves this problem elegantly. A well-chosen geometric print adds layers of visual depth to a room through pattern alone, without requiring any additional objects or furniture. The eye has something interesting to engage with when it lands on the wall, which gives the room a sense of richness and completeness that a plain surface never achieves. This makes geometric wallpaper particularly valuable in rooms that are sparsely furnished by choice, where the wallpaper does the decorative work that objects and accessories would otherwise have to do. 6. It Transforms Functional Spaces Into Design Statements Hallways, home offices, laundry rooms, and utility spaces tend to receive the least design attention in most homes. They are treated as purely functional and decorated accordingly, which is why they so rarely feel like anything other than transitional or practical spaces. Geometric pattern wallpaper in a functional space transforms it into something worth noticing. A bold geometric hallway sets a confident, characterful tone for the entire home from the moment you enter. A geometric feature wall in a home office adds energy and focus to a workspace. Even a laundry room with a strong geometric print feels less like a chore and more like a considered part of the home. The pattern signals that the space was thought about rather than simply finished, and that quality elevates the entire room regardless of its function. Pattern With Purpose Geometric pattern wallpaper earns its place in a room by doing more than decorating a wall. It defines spaces, manipulates proportions, adds depth, and brings structure to rooms that lack a clear focal point. Used with intention, it is one of the most versatile and impactful choices available in interior design. The range of styles within the geometric category means there is a design for every room, every aesthetic, and every level of design confidence. The results, when the right pattern meets the right space, speak for themselves. By ML Staff. Images courtesy of DepositPhotos

The transaction brings together a portfolio of premier waterfront assets in some of the nation’s most sought-after coastal destinations, enhancing scale, geographic diversification, and long-term growth opportunities for the combined organization.
