  • Acqua di Parma Presents the La Caletta Summer 2026 Collection

Miami Living brings you the latest from Acqua di Parma as the Italian fragrance house introduces La Caletta, its Summer 2026 collection created in collaboration with designer Laura Gonzalez. Inspired by the understated elegance of Italy’s hidden coastal retreats, the collection explores craftsmanship, fragrance and design through limited-edition scents, candles and lifestyle objects that celebrate the spirit of independent chic. Conceived as an intimate escape shaped by sea, stone and light, La Caletta reflects a quieter interpretation of Italian summer living. Acqua di Parma partnered with internationally renowned interior architect Laura Gonzalez to reinterpret the Maison’s Blu Mediterraneo world through her signature use of organic forms, layered patterns and Mediterranean references. “Nature has always been my first language. I look at it structurally and emotionally,” Gonzalez said. “Here, the sea, coral, rock formations, and light shape the silhouettes and patterns while artisanal tradition gives those inspirations depth and truth.” At the center of the collection is Bergamotto La Spugnatura Eau de Parfum, inspired by the centuries-old Calabrian extraction technique known as “La Spugnatura,” where bergamot essence is hand-extracted using natural sponges. The fragrance is joined by a new Bergamotto La Spugnatura Hair & Body Oil designed to leave skin and hair lightly scented and luminous. The collection also introduces the Acropora Masterpiece Candle, a sculptural candle inspired by branching Mediterranean coral. Rendered in deep blue with subtle silver accents, the piece combines Gonzalez’s graphic motifs with Acqua di Parma’s artisanal approach and diffuses the scent of Fico di Amalfi. Additional fragrance releases include a limited-edition Fico di Amalfi Eau de Toilette featuring Gonzalez’s custom artwork, along with three new candles inspired by classic Italian summer desserts and rituals: Sorbetto al Limone, Latte di Mandorla and Granita al Gelso. Beyond fragrance, the Art of Living Summer 2026 collection expands into decorative and lifestyle pieces designed to evoke the relaxed rhythm of the Italian coast. The lineup includes handcrafted leather candle holders, fragrance holders, beach paddles, tic-tac-toe sets, fans and small accessories inspired by traditional seaside leisure. Several collectible design pieces will be exclusive to the Acqua di Parma Miami boutique, including the Acropora Masterpiece Candle, Secchiello Candle Holder Basket, Cono Candle Holder, Retino Fragrance Holder, Racchettoni Beach Paddles, Filetto Tic Tac Toe Game, fan and keychain. Founded in 1916, Acqua di Parma continues to blend Italian craftsmanship with contemporary design through fragrances and lifestyle objects rooted in the country’s culture and artisanal heritage. In Miami, the La Caletta Summer 2026 collection is available at the Acqua di Parma Brickell City Centre Boutique and online at neimanmarcus.com. • What Pet Owners Should Know About Urgent Veterinary Care

When a pet faces a sudden health crisis or injury, urgent and emergency veterinary care becomes essential. Understanding the types of urgent services available can make a significant difference in positive outcomes. Timely decisions and access to proper veterinary resources help safeguard both dogs and cats when hours matter most. Many pet owners are often unsure where to turn when their animals require immediate attention outside traditional clinic hours. Knowing about after-hours options such as UrgentVet in Florida can be a valuable part of your emergency plan. Quick action for injuries, sudden illness, or alarming symptoms ensures that pets receive the critical care they need when their regular veterinarian is unavailable. Recognizing emergency situations, preparing for them, and knowing where to find help can reduce stress for both pets and their families when urgent circumstances arise. Common urgent and emergency situations in pets Pets may require urgent care for a range of reasons, from injuries such as cuts, broken bones, or bites to symptoms like vomiting, difficulty breathing, or sudden lethargy. Poisoning, allergic reactions, and heatstroke are additional scenarios where timely veterinary intervention is crucial. Some emergencies are immediately obvious, while others may develop rapidly over several hours. Understanding which symptoms signal the need for urgent care helps owners make well-informed decisions. Monitoring your pet’s behavior closely and responding to changes can protect their well-being. How to prepare for urgent veterinary needs Preparation is key to delivering prompt care in emergency situations. Keeping a list of local urgent care providers and emergency clinics, such as after-hours options, ensures you are ready if an incident occurs. Updating your contacts and knowing the quickest routes can save valuable time. Having vital medical records, including vaccination status and prior health concerns, readily accessible can help veterinary staff provide accurate and efficient care. A basic pet emergency kit with bandages, medications, and contact information supports you as you respond quickly to urgent situations. Selecting the right urgent care provider Choosing an appropriate urgent care facility involves considering their hours, services, and experience with emergencies. Some clinics focus on specific issues, such as trauma or toxin exposure, while others provide broader urgent support for a range of problems. Facilities like UrgentVet are designed to address both sudden injuries and unexpected symptoms outside normal business hours. Verifying that your chosen provider can manage your pet’s needs gives peace of mind and ensures responsive care when health crises arise. The importance of timely action during emergencies When pets face emergencies, acting quickly often leads to better outcomes. Signs such as unresponsiveness, seizures, severe bleeding, or difficulty breathing should never be ignored. Owners play an essential role in recognizing when a pet requires urgent attention and seeking help without delay. Remaining calm, using your emergency contacts, and transporting your pet safely to a veterinary clinic help support their recovery in critical moments. By being vigilant and prepared, you can provide your dog or cat with needed care when time is of the essence. By ML staff. Images courtesy of Unsplash.

  • The Summer Residency Miami Didn't Know It Needed: Mott50 Edition by Coolibar Arrives at Wanitta Wynwood

In a city where sunshine is more than a season, it's a way of life, fashion has long celebrated the allure of the sun. Yet as conversations around skin health, longevity, and wellness continue to evolve, a new generation of brands is redefining what it means to dress for life under the Miami sky. This summer, that evolution arrives in Wynwood. For the next two months, Wanitta (wanitta.com), one of Miami's most coveted retail destinations, will host an exclusive residency featuring Mott50 Edition by Coolibar (coolibar.com), bringing the brand's elevated interpretation of luxury sun protection directly to one of the city's most style-conscious neighborhoods. The collaboration represents more than a retail partnership. It signals a shift in how modern consumers think about fashion, wellness, and the role clothing plays in protecting our health. The End of the Sunscreen-Only Era For decades, sun protection has largely been synonymous with sunscreen. But in recent years, consumers have become increasingly aware of the limitations of relying solely on topical solutions, especially in climates like South Florida where UV exposure is a daily reality. Enter Coolibar. Known as the pioneer of UPF 50+ apparel, the brand has spent more than two decades developing garments engineered to block ultraviolet radiation without compromising comfort or style. What began as a functional solution for individuals seeking serious sun protection has evolved into a sophisticated lifestyle brand embraced by dermatologists, travelers, outdoor enthusiasts, and fashion-forward consumers alike. Mott50 Edition by Coolibar represents the most elevated expression of that mission. Designed with an emphasis on luxury fabrication, refined tailoring, and resort-inspired silhouettes, the collection demonstrates that sun protection no longer belongs solely in the realm of utility. Instead, it occupies a growing space where wellness and fashion intersect. The result is clothing that feels equally at home aboard a yacht in Biscayne Bay, at a beachside brunch in Bal Harbour, or strolling through the galleries and cafés that have made Wynwood an international cultural destination. Why Wynwood Makes Perfect Sense Few neighborhoods embody Miami's creative spirit quite like Wynwood. Known for its vibrant murals, entrepreneurial energy, and blend of art, fashion, and hospitality, the district has become a magnet for brands seeking authentic cultural relevance rather than traditional retail exposure. Wanitta has emerged as one of the neighborhood's most thoughtfully curated retail experiences, attracting shoppers who value discovery, craftsmanship, and distinctive design. Against that backdrop, Mott50 Edition by Coolibar feels remarkably at home. Both brands share a common philosophy: thoughtful curation over mass production, intentional design over fleeting trends, and products that offer substance alongside style. Visitors to the residency will discover a carefully selected assortment of sophisticated sun-protective apparel designed to complement the modern luxury lifestyle. Flowing dresses, refined cover-ups, tailored separates, and versatile resort essentials showcase the collection's ability to move seamlessly from poolside relaxation to evening cocktails. It's a wardrobe built not simply for vacation, but for the everyday reality of living beautifully in sunny climates. The Luxury of Prevention Perhaps the most compelling aspect of the residency is its timing. As consumers increasingly embrace preventative wellness, from personalized nutrition and longevity clinics to advanced skincare and recovery therapies, the concept of preventative fashion feels particularly relevant. Clothing has become one of the most overlooked wellness tools available. Unlike sunscreen, which requires reapplication and careful monitoring, UPF apparel provides consistent protection throughout the day. For many consumers, especially those concerned about cumulative UV exposure, it offers peace of mind alongside practicality. What Mott50 Edition by Coolibar achieves is making that protection desirable. Rather than asking consumers to sacrifice aesthetics for function, the collection elevates protection into a luxury experience. The garments feel intentional, elegant, and distinctly modern, proving that the future of wellness may be woven directly into the clothes we wear. A Limited-Time Summer Discovery Part of the appeal of the residency lies in its exclusivity. Available for only two months, the activation creates a sense of discovery that aligns perfectly with Wynwood's culture of limited releases, creative collaborations, and experiential retail. For Miami residents, it offers a rare opportunity to experience the collection in person, exploring the craftsmanship, fit, and fabrication that have helped position Mott50 Edition by Coolibar as a leader within the growing luxury sun-protection category. For visitors, it serves as a reminder that Miami's relationship with the sun continues to evolve. The city that once celebrated tanning culture is increasingly embracing sun-smart living without sacrificing sophistication. In many ways, the residency feels emblematic of a broader movement, one where health, longevity, and style are no longer separate conversations but part of the same lifestyle philosophy. And perhaps that's why this partnership feels so timely. Because in a city defined by sunshine, the ultimate luxury may no longer be chasing the sun. It's learning how to enjoy it beautifully. For this edition, Miami Living brings you the Adrien Table, designed by Jean-Marie Massaud for Poliform (poliform.com), the Italian furniture company known for its collaborations with leading designers. The Adrien table builds on familiar forms but introduces an unexpected element: asymmetrically positioned legs that give the piece a sculptural quality without overwhelming the room. • Is it a Snack or a Sock? ODD SOX Immersive Grocery Popup Hits Miami This Summer

For nearly a month this summer, a storefront in Wynwood will be fooling visitors at first glance. What appears to be a retro grocery store stocked with popular brands is actually ODDMART — an immersive retail experience where every product on the shelves is a sock. Think: a fully immersive grocery store where familiar snacks and beverages become wearable collectibles. The concept was created by Odd Sox, a Tampa-based licensed accessories brand behind collaborations with Cheez-It, Pringles, Pop-Tarts, Cheetos, Pepsi, Liquid Death and more than 100 other global brands. This first-of-its-kind retail experience will be free and open to the South Florida public from June 26 to July 19, before heading to Las Vegas, New York City and Tokyo later this year. Guests walk in expecting chips, cereal, candy and canned drinks. Instead, they find aisles stocked with socks packaged inside the actual branded packaging of the products that inspired them. A bag of Sour Patch Kids. A can of Liquid Death. A bag of Cheetos. Each one houses a licensed Odd Sox product built around that brand’s iconic design. The store is designed to be walked through, shopped and photographed, with larger-than-life installations, interactive displays, a live DJ, rotating activations, special celebrity appearances, and a custom exterior graffiti piece by Miami artist Golden 305 that ties the experience directly to Wynwood’s mural and graffiti culture. Inside, the official brand partners bring the event to life. Cheez-It headlines as a main sponsor, alongside featured partners Pringles, Pop-Tarts, Cheetos, Dude Wipes and more. Their packaging lines the store’s custom-built aisles. Founded by Tampa native Ahmad Akar in 2013, Odd Sox has since garnered hundreds of active partnerships across food and beverage, entertainment, gaming and pop culture. What began with early trade show traction and viral momentum has evolved into a leading licensee in the accessories category, recognized for design-driven product and consistent retail performance. Odd Sox distributes through major retail channels and direct-to-consumer e-commerce, supported by a combined social audience exceeding 3.8 million across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and Facebook. “We’ve built a global brand around turning the world’s most recognized names into products people actually want to wear,” said Akar. “ODDMART is that idea brought to life in physical form, and Wynwood felt like the perfect home for it. As one of the most creative neighborhoods in the world, it represents exactly the kind of energy we built this experience for.” ODDMART will run daily from 12 to 8 p.m. and is located at 285 NW 27th Street. Between the unique partnerships and comfortable socks, this is not an opportunity to miss out on. By ML Staff. Photos courtesy of ODDMART Miami.

  • Smart Habits That Help Your Car Hold Its Value

A vehicle is one of the largest purchases many people make, and its value begins to decline as soon as it leaves the dealership. While depreciation is unavoidable, certain habits can help slow the process and make a car more attractive to future buyers. Consistent care, responsible driving, and proper recordkeeping can have a significant impact on resale value. Whether you plan to sell your vehicle in a few years or keep it for the long term, protecting its condition is a worthwhile investment. Stay Current With Maintenance Routine maintenance is one of the most effective ways to preserve a vehicle’s value. Regular oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid checks help keep major systems working properly. Following the manufacturer’s maintenance schedule shows that the vehicle has been cared for over time. Buyers often look for service records because they provide proof that the car received proper attention. A vehicle with documented maintenance history is generally more appealing than one with missing records. Ignoring small issues can lead to larger and more expensive repairs later. Addressing warning lights, unusual noises, or performance concerns quickly can help prevent additional damage. Keep the Exterior in Good Condition The exterior is one of the first things potential buyers notice. Scratches, dents, faded paint, and rust can reduce a vehicle’s appeal and affect its market value. Regular washing removes dirt, road salt, and contaminants that can damage paint over time. Applying wax periodically can help protect the finish from sun exposure and environmental wear. Parking in a garage or shaded area may reduce damage caused by weather and ultraviolet rays. Taking care when parking can also lower the risk of dents and scratches from nearby vehicles or shopping carts. Protect the Interior A clean and well-maintained interior can make a strong impression. Stains, odors, torn upholstery, and damaged surfaces often signal neglect to buyers. Using floor mats, cleaning spills promptly, and vacuuming regularly can help maintain the cabin’s appearance. Protecting seats from excessive wear is especially important in vehicles that are used daily. Drive Responsibly Driving habits influence a vehicle’s condition over time. Aggressive acceleration, hard braking, and frequent speeding can place extra stress on the engine, transmission, brakes, and tires. Smooth driving helps reduce wear and may improve fuel efficiency. Limiting unnecessary mileage can also help preserve value since lower mileage vehicles often attract more buyer interest. Keep Detailed Records Organized records can increase buyer confidence during the sales process. Maintenance receipts, repair invoices, warranty information, and inspection reports help demonstrate ownership history. Documentation can also support a higher asking price because buyers have a clearer picture of the vehicle’s condition. This becomes especially important in competitive markets, including private sales and car auctions, where vehicle history often influences purchasing decisions. Keeping records in a dedicated folder or digital file makes them easy to access when it is time to sell. Avoid Unnecessary Modifications Custom modifications do not always increase value. While some upgrades may appeal to certain buyers, others can limit the pool of interested purchasers. Large wheels, altered suspension systems, aftermarket body kits, and extensive cosmetic changes may raise concerns about reliability or maintenance. Vehicles that remain close to their original factory condition often attract a broader range of buyers. A car’s value depends heavily on its condition, maintenance history, and overall appearance. Consistent upkeep, careful driving, and proper documentation can help preserve resale value over time. Small efforts made throughout ownership often lead to better offers and a smoother selling process when the time comes to move on to a new vehicle. Look over the infographic below to learn more.
