Is it a Snack or a Sock? ODD SOX Immersive Grocery Popup Hits Miami This Summer
For nearly a month this summer, a storefront in Wynwood will be fooling visitors at first glance. What appears to be a retro grocery store stocked with popular brands is actually ODDMART — an immersive retail experience where every product on the shelves is a sock.

Think: a fully immersive grocery store where familiar snacks and beverages become wearable collectibles. The concept was created by Odd Sox, a Tampa-based licensed accessories brand behind collaborations with Cheez-It, Pringles, Pop-Tarts, Cheetos, Pepsi, Liquid Death and more than 100 other global brands.
This first-of-its-kind retail experience will be free and open to the South Florida public from June 26 to July 19, before heading to Las Vegas, New York City and Tokyo later this year.
Guests walk in expecting chips, cereal, candy and canned drinks. Instead, they find aisles stocked with socks packaged inside the actual branded packaging of the products that inspired them. A bag of Sour Patch Kids. A can of Liquid Death. A bag of Cheetos. Each one houses a licensed Odd Sox product built around that brand’s iconic design. The store is designed to be walked through, shopped and photographed, with larger-than-life installations, interactive displays, a live DJ, rotating activations, special celebrity appearances, and a custom exterior graffiti piece by Miami artist Golden 305 that ties the experience directly to Wynwood’s mural and graffiti culture.
Inside, the official brand partners bring the event to life. Cheez-It headlines as a main sponsor, alongside featured partners Pringles, Pop-Tarts, Cheetos, Dude Wipes and more. Their packaging lines the store’s custom-built aisles.

Founded by Tampa native Ahmad Akar in 2013, Odd Sox has since garnered hundreds of active partnerships across food and beverage, entertainment, gaming and pop culture. What began with early trade show traction and viral momentum has evolved into a leading licensee in the accessories category, recognized for design-driven product and consistent retail performance. Odd Sox distributes through major retail channels and direct-to-consumer e-commerce, supported by a combined social audience exceeding 3.8 million across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and Facebook.
“We’ve built a global brand around turning the world’s most recognized names into products people actually want to wear,” said Akar. “ODDMART is that idea brought to life in physical form, and Wynwood felt like the perfect home for it. As one of the most creative neighborhoods in the world, it represents exactly the kind of energy we built this experience for.”

ODDMART will run daily from 12 to 8 p.m. and is located at 285 NW 27th Street. Between the unique partnerships and comfortable socks, this is not an opportunity to miss out on.
