Subaru of Pembroke Pines is proud to donate more than $89,000 to two hometown charities, Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital and the Humane Society of Broward County, from funds raised during the Subaru Share the Love® Event. For every new Subaru vehicle purchased or leased from Nov. 16, 2023, to Jan. 2, 2024, Subaru donated $300 to a hometown charity of the customer’s choosing.    Every year, Craig Zinn Automotive Group President and CEO Craig Zinn generously matches the amount raised by the campaign. This year, Subaru of Pembroke Pines raised $58,433 for Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital and $30,850 for the Humane Society of Broward County.    Zinn presented the donations to the recipients during a check presentation ceremony held at Subaru of Pembroke Pines on Aug. 23. He was joined by executives from the Craig Zinn Automotive Group, including Vice President and COO Tony Stampone, Corporate Sales Executive Zachary Zinn, Executive Vice President and Group General Manager Patrick Nasto, and Vice President of Corporate Affairs Marc Adler, as well as Subaru of Pembroke General Manager Duane Massa.   Representatives from Memorial Healthcare System in attendance included President and CEO Scott Wester, Senior Vice President and President of Foundations Kevin Janser, Director of Physician Practices Memorial Physicians Group Babette Kosar, and Senior Director of External Affairs for Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital Jessica Usina. Additionally, the Humane Society of Broward County was represented by Vice President and Chief Development Officer Kathy Tricomi and Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors Christy Gumberg.   The funds raised will support a variety of services at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital, which recently expanded its Hollywood location from four to eight floors and the animal-assisted therapy endowment. Zinn will initially cover the needs of the program while building the endowment of $500,000 to provide income from interest and fund the program in perpetuity. The endowment provides necessary funding to purchase an additional therapy dog for Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital and supplemental costs associated with having an additional handler on staff at the hospital.    Funds raised for the Humane Society of Broward County will support initiatives including clinics, behavior training, shelter services and other programs that promote animal welfare throughout South Florida in hopes of finding furry friends a forever home.   “Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital and the Humane Society of Broward County are pillars of strength in our community,” said Zinn. “It’s a true privilege to continue our partnership with these extraordinary organizations and continue to support their crucial efforts through the Subaru Share the Love® Event.”   As one of the largest donors to the Subaru Share the Love program, Subaru of Pembroke Pines has donated over $1.6 million to the local community. LOEWE has inaugurated its first CASA LOEWE flagship in Seoul, located in the vibrant Gangnam district. The 433-square-meter space proposes a full offering of ready-to-wear and much more across three floors. The store features a curated selection of distinctive furniture, including Berin Club chairs upholstered in custom felt, Utrecht and Steltman chairs designed by Gerrit Thomas Rietveld, and Conoid Cushion chairs in American black walnut from George Nakashima.   The CASA LOEWE Seoul Cheongdam stands out with its bright green ceramic façade and vast sculptural installation. The store concept by LOEWE creative director Jonathan Anderson is a unique fusion of fashion, art, craft and design furniture, creating the eclectic feel of an art collector’s home. Handmade in Spain, the façade’s ceramic tiles bring a bold volume of color that dialogues with the store’s urban context and surrounding greenery.   Inside, the tiles recur in shades of blue, brown and green, complemented by cool expanses of concrete, oak, brass and marble. Extensive use of glass brings an abundance of natural light, generating a continuous flow between exterior and interior.   The store also welcomes meticulously curated works from LOEWE’s anthology of art and craft.
