First-Ever Wellness Summit Eudēmonia on Track to Generate $1.7 Million in Local Economic Impact

Updated: Dec 8, 2024

Eudēmonia, the most significant gathering of health and well-being experts ever assembled, was expected to generate $1.7m for the local economy as an estimated 2,000 attendees descended on The Palm Beaches, Florida’s premier travel and wellness destination, from Nov. 1-3, 2024. Dozens of local brands exhibited, offering lifestyle and wellness experiences to locals and visitors alike. In case you missed it this year, Eudēmonia will be returning to The Palm Beaches in fall 2025.

The South Florida-based brands who partnered with the summit included Pur Form, an IV service for attendees, Biohack Labs, a leading longevity facility with locations throughout Florida, and VoLo Foundation, a foundation focused on improving health outcomes through data science. The summit was held at the Hilton West Palm Beach, which sold out.

Key experiences at Eudēmonia included on-site biometric testing and experiential sessions including workouts, contrast therapy, breathwork, and more. In addition, electric automotive pioneer Rivian teamed up with Eudēmonia for an exclusive ride-and-drive experience at the summit. Attendees who test-drove Rivian's latest electric vehicle models received a complimentary one-day pass to the Exposōme wellness tech expo. Rivian also offered attendee transportation throughout the long weekend, including Thursday service from the Hilton West Palm Beach to Palm Beach Municipal Beach, where Eudēmonia attendees could kick off their experience by dipping their toes in the sand. Rivian also offered several offsite excursions for badge holders each day of the summit.

To ensure that Eudēmonia was accessible to all well-being enthusiasts, the summit was proud to offer 400 need-based scholarships supported by generous donations from two partners, VoLo Foundation and Function Health. The event also offered a substantial $1,300 discount to full-time students, with a focus on those enrolled in medical and nursing schools, alongside a wide range of professional discounts. The professional discount offerings recognized the invaluable contributions of military, first responders, diverse health and wellness professionals, and teachers. Student discounts were open to all full-time students at accredited educational institutions, including those in secondary school, college, graduate school, or PhD programs. In addition, those interested in volunteering were able to support Eudēmonia in exchange for a free one-day event badge.

“We’re thrilled to have partnered with a variety of local brands to offer the best experience to all Eudēmonia attendees,” said Eudēmonia CEO and Founder Sean Hoess. “Our partners were not only dedicated to making Eudēmonia a success, but they were also passionate about supporting the spread of transformational health tools and practices to everyone.”

“Eudemonia intentionally selected The Palm Beaches as the ideal destination to host this transformational health and wellness summit,” said Milton Segarra, president and CEO of Discover The Palm Beaches, the tourism marketing organization for Palm Beach County. “The event organizers had been embracing and supporting our local community since its inception. We know this annual event will bring significant economic benefits, as well as vital community engagement and connection with our businesses, tourism partners, and the larger community.”
