  • Ball Janik LLP Expands Miami Tower Office, Strengthening Its Role in South Florida’s Construction & Insurance Law Landscape

As South Florida’s skyline continues its rapid transformation, the legal challenges behind the region’s development have grown just as quickly. This month, Ball Janik LLP —one of Florida’s leading firms in construction defect and insurance recovery law—announced a major expansion of its Miami office, marking a significant step in its statewide growth. Located on the 41st floor of the iconic Miami Tower, the firm’s newly expanded space reflects a year of mounting case volume, new attorney hires, and an increased demand from clients ranging from condominium associations to large property managers and building owners. “For us, this expansion represents more than square footage—it represents the escalating complexity of disputes our clients face,” said Partner Gabriel Coelho , who co-leads the Miami office. “Construction defects, insurance denials, and post-storm claims are becoming more demanding across South Florida. We’re now operating with the space and resources to meet those needs quickly and effectively.” The Miami Tower location offers strategic advantages: immediate access to the Knight Center Metromover Station, walkable routes to key courthouses, and fast links to Miami International Airport. For a firm handling time-sensitive filings, mediations, and multi-party litigation, the location strengthens its ability to respond to clients in real time. Partner Frank Soto , who leads the office with Coelho, notes that the expansion also signals the firm’s commitment to the broader business and real estate community. “Our presence in the Miami Tower places us at the center of the legal and commercial activity that shapes South Florida,” he said. “This move positions us to better serve the institutional owners, developers, lenders, and property managers who play such a vital role in the region’s growth.” The firm’s recent expansion follows the addition of four attorneys—Frank Soto, Amanda Gonzalez, Jocelyn Rocha, and Michael Falcon—who each bring expertise in construction investigations, HOA/condo turnover planning, insurance claim disputes, and commercial litigation. Despite its growth, Ball Janik maintains its boutique approach: partner-led engagement, personalized strategy, and a hands-on style of litigation that has defined the firm since its founding in 1982. Today, with more than 50 professionals across five Florida offices, the firm continues to handle some of the state’s most complex construction defect and insurance recovery cases. As South Florida continues to evolve, the legal hurdles surrounding development, maintenance, and storm resilience are growing more intricate. With its expanded Miami Tower office, Ball Janik is positioning itself as a key player in navigating those challenges—ensuring that property owners, associations, and managers have the legal support they need in a rapidly changing market. • How Much Does Cosmetic Dentistry Cost? Expert Tips To Save Money On Your Smile Makeover

Improving your smile is one of the most rewarding decisions you can make, not just for your appearance, but for your confidence and overall quality of life. However, one of the first questions people ask before pursuing cosmetic dental care is: “How much does cosmetic dentistry cost?” The truth is that pricing varies widely depending on the treatment, materials used, dentist experience, and your dental goals. Whether you're considering whitening, veneers, implants, or a full smile makeover, understanding cost factors can help you make smart, well-informed decisions. In this guide, we’ll break down the real cost of cosmetic dentistry , explain what influences those numbers, and show you practical ways to save money without sacrificing quality. Image by DepositPhotos Why Cosmetic Dentistry Costs Vary Cosmetic dentistry isn’t a one-size-fits-all service. Every smile is unique, and every treatment involves different materials, techniques, and levels of customization. This makes exact pricing difficult to generalize, but we can explore the biggest cost drivers. Dentist Expertise And Training Experienced cosmetic dentists often charge more because they invest significant time in advanced training and use high-quality materials. A skilled dentist ensures your results look natural and last longer, which may save you money in the long run. Materials And Technology Used Cosmetic dentistry can involve advanced porcelain, high-grade resin, or premium ceramics – all of which differ in cost. Technology such as 3D  imaging or digital smile design can also add value to the treatment. Complexity Of Your Case Two people may request the same treatment but require completely different approaches. For example, veneer patients with misalignment or gum issues may need additional procedures before their makeover begins. Average Costs Of Popular Cosmetic Dentistry Treatments Below are the typical price ranges* for major cosmetic procedures. (*Note: actual costs vary by region, clinic reputation, and required customization.) Teeth Whitening Professional whitening is one of the most affordable options. In-office whitening: Usually more expensive but delivers fast, dramatic results. Take-home kits: Slightly more affordable and offer gradual whitening. Whitening is a great starting point for people wanting a bright upgrade without major investment. Dental Veneers Veneers transform your smile by correcting discoloration, chips, gaps, and irregular shapes. They are typically priced per tooth because they involve custom artistry and precision. Porcelain veneers tend to cost more than composite veneers because of their longevity, natural translucency, and durability. Dental Bonding Bonding is one of the most cost-effective ways to fix small imperfections. It requires minimal tooth preparation and can often be done in a single appointment.Since it uses resin instead of porcelain, it’s more affordable, but also less durable. Invisalign And Clear Aligners Clear aligners straighten teeth discreetly. Pricing varies depending on the number of aligners, your degree of misalignment, and follow-up appointments. Many people choose aligners because the convenience and comfort justify the investment long-term. Image by DepositPhotos Dental Implants Implants tend to be on the higher end of the cost spectrum because they involve surgery, high-quality materials, and long-term durability. However, implants are considered one of the best investments in modern dentistry due to their lifespan and natural functionality. Hidden Costs You Should Be Aware Of Cosmetic dentistry sometimes involves additional steps that influence the overall cost. Additional Pre-Treatment Requirements Depending on your oral health, you may need preparation treatments such as: Gum contouring Bite adjustment Deep cleaning Orthodontic corrections Tooth extraction (for implant patients) These steps ensure your cosmetic results last and your oral health remains stable. Maintenance and Aftercare Teeth whitening requires occasional touch-ups, veneers may need replacement after many years, and clear aligner users must wear retainers. Although these aren’t significant costs, they should be accounted for. How To Save Money On Cosmetic Dentistry A beautiful smile doesn’t have to break the bank. There are several smart ways to reduce costs while still receiving high-quality care. Choose Treatments That Offer High Value Not all cosmetic procedures  cost the same, and not all are necessary for every patient. Discuss your goals with your dentist: they may recommend the most cost-efficient solution that still achieves your desired results. Compare Treatment Options Many cosmetic goals have multiple solutions. For example: Want whiter teeth? Whitening is more affordable than veneers. Want a better shape? Bonding might work instead of veneers. Need alignment? Limited aligner treatments cost less than full treatment. A good dentist will guide you toward the most budget-friendly option. Look For Packages Or Smile Makeover Discounts Some clinics offer bundled deals when you combine treatments. For example, whitening may be free when you book veneers, or aligner patients may receive discounted retainers. Use Dental Payment Plans High-quality clinics often provide flexible instalment plans, allowing you to spread the cost over several months or years. This makes premium treatments more accessible without requiring a huge upfront budget. Maintain Excellent Oral Hygiene Taking care of your teeth extends the life of your cosmetic results, reducing the need for early replacements or repairs. Simple habits like daily brushing, flossing, and regular dentist visits help protect your investment. When Cosmetic Dentistry Is Worth The Investment While cosmetic dentistry can vary in cost, many patients describe it as one of the most life-changing investments they’ve ever made. A confident smile improves personal interactions, professional opportunities, and emotional well-being. Cosmetic treatments are not only aesthetic, they can also improve bite function, restore missing teeth, and support healthier long-term oral habits. If you value self-confidence, comfort, and overall wellness, cosmetic dentistry is absolutely worth considering. Image by DepositPhotos Final Insights Understanding the cost of cosmetic dentistry helps you make informed decisions and identify the best treatments for your goals and budget. Whether you're aiming for a brighter smile or a full transformation, smart planning and expert advice can make your makeover more affordable and effective. When choosing a provider, prioritize experience, transparency, and quality of care. Trusted clinics such as Nuffield Dental  offer personalized smile assessments and honest recommendations, ensuring you get the best value for your investment while achieving natural, beautiful results. Common Questions Answered Why Do Cosmetic Dentistry Costs Vary So Much? Costs vary due to materials, dentist skill, technology, and case complexity. Personalized treatment means personalized pricing. What Is The Most Affordable Cosmetic Dental Treatment? Teeth whitening and dental bonding are generally the most budget-friendly entry-level options. Do Payment Plans Really Help? Yes. Payment plans make it easier to manage costs and allow patients to access high-quality treatments without financial stress. Are Cosmetic Dental Results Permanent? Some results, like implants, can last a lifetime. Others – such as whitening or bonding – may need periodic maintenance. Is Cosmetic Dentistry A Good Long-Term Investment? Absolutely. Cosmetic dentistry enhances confidence, oral function, and overall quality of life, making it a valuable long-term investment. By ML Staff. Images courtesy of DepositPhotos

  • Creativo Marks Six Years with a Sensual, High-Style Anniversary at Miami Art Week

Creativo marked its sixth anniversary on December 5, 2025, transforming a waterfront home in Belle Meade into one of Miami Art Week’s most anticipated nighttime events. The gathering has become a defining fixture of the city’s creative landscape, uniting art, music, fashion, technology, and science under one roof. This edition drew about 750 guests, selected from more than 12,000 RSVPs. The theme, “Jump on It,” paid tribute to the 30th anniversary of Ginuwine’s 1996 hit Pony, a song that has sustained its cultural relevance through decades of film, nightlife, and R&B nostalgia. The cowboy-inspired dress code produced a visually striking crowd, with guests embracing variations of hats, boots, and Western silhouettes — a reflection of the community’s commitment to the event’s playful, expressive ethos. Producer Sasha Bernier described Creativo as “a true celebration of creatives and artists,” noting its role as a meeting point for multiple creative disciplines. Music for the night was led by two women DJs. Jessica Mah of Los Angeles — a venture capitalist, tech founder, and DJ — delivered an intense, high-energy EDM set. Miami-based DJ Zuleika Najar followed with a blend of electronic remixes of 80s and 90s classics layered with her signature Latina influence. The evening’s centerpiece was a pair of fashion presentations that combined luxury design with philanthropy. Designer Cassandra Youngs showcased custom couture with a runway moment featuring Isabella, a young heart-defect survivor, and pageant titleholder Eddah Wanyoike. Isabella also exhibited her artwork, sharing the sentiment that inspired her pieces: “I can’t see the heart… but I can feel it.” The runway then shifted to a vintage showcase by Janet Mandell, whose boutiques in Los Angeles, Chicago, and New York are known for rare high-end archival fashion. Fifteen models presented gowns from labels including Cavalli and Chanel, with many pieces valued around $20,000. R&B artist Evans closed the night with live performances that aligned seamlessly with the event’s theme. His rendition of Ginuwine’s Pony — followed by covers of Justin Timberlake’s Until the End of Time and Ne-Yo’s Closer — energized the crowd and highlighted his rising presence in Miami’s music scene. Guests enjoyed Mediterranean dishes from Sufrat, including kebabs, hummus, and other regional specialties. Creativo also acknowledged support from partners including Barcelo Rum , Pink Sands , Lalo Tequila , Neau Water , Strega , Askur Gin , Helix Vodka , SWAF beer, and Voga Italia . Creativo has solidified its position as a major cultural moment during Miami Art Week, consistently expanding its vision and audience impact. The creative community now looks ahead to the group’s next event during the upcoming F1 race weekend. By ML Staff. Photos: William Gabriel Elias @dubbellyuu.

  • Gucci Reveals “Generation Gucci” Pre-Fall 2026 Lookbook

The Generation Gucci lookbook is presented as a fictional runway conceived and photographed by Demna, who draws on archival references and visual codes from multiple eras of the House. By merging products and imagery across decades into a single narrative, the project reflects Demna’s ongoing study of Gucci’s history and signals the aesthetic direction he plans to expand on next season. The opening looks focus on lightweight tailoring in archival silk faille woven to create a subtly aged texture. Women’s suiting removes traditional buttons in favor of minimal clasps, forming sculptural two-piece sets with legging-fit trousers and a sharply defined pencil skirt. Seamless jeans feature concealed pockets and closures, while silk travel suits offer the comfort and drape of elevated loungewear. Technical references appear in pieces shaped by surfer wetsuit construction, including a contouring mock-neck top and a body-con leather jacket. Outerwear takes on a textural, handcrafted identity: coats pieced together from shearling, silk, goat hair, and feathers create interlinked patterns over sheer bases. A party wardrobe introduces underwear-inspired silhouettes worn with silk blousons, draped miniskirts with matching tops, and fluid gowns in jersey or silk chiffon. The lookbook revisits House signatures from the 1970s and 1990s. Racer jackets feature the Web stripe, while belts reimagine the Double G buckle in sliced geometric forms. Full leather and suede looks return, along with equestrian-print silk sets referencing vintage scarf designs from the archives. Footwear is defined by sleek lines and lightweight construction. Valigeria-inspired ballerinas reappear in men’s sizes; loafers adopt the softness of dance shoes; stilettos introduce seamless heels with cushioned interiors; and classic loafers trimmed with metal spikes suggest pieces personalized across generations. Accessories extend the dialogue between utility and heritage. The Lunetta Phone+ bag in monogram canvas and chainmail is structured around everyday essentials. The Jackie 1961 is reimagined as a compact rectilinear shape or expanded into a softened, oversized form in calfskin and crocodile. The Dionysus takes on a sharper, more angular silhouette. Gary Nader Art Centre marked a significant milestone during Art Week with a private gala on December 2 celebrating Gary Nader’s 40-year influence on Miami’s rise as a global art destination. The event brought together collectors, artists, cultural figures, and international guests to recognize a career that helped elevate the visibility and appreciation of Latin American art worldwide. The celebration led into the opening of Picasso to Botero, unveiled on December 3 and now on view through March 28, 2026. The exhibition features rarely seen works by Pablo Picasso and Fernando Botero, establishing one of Art Week’s standout curatorial statements. By placing key examples of European modernism in dialogue with contemporary Latin American expression, the show underscores a cross-cultural narrative that has shaped artistic discourse across generations. The gala began with an intimate dinner honoring Nader’s long-term cultural impact and the evolution of a project that has expanded steadily since the 1980s. Guests reflected on his contributions to Miami’s artistic identity before the evening concluded with a live performance by Cimafunk, produced by Emilio Estefan. Manuel Abud, Fredy Nasser, Mike Bezos, Emilio Estefan, Michael Smith, Gary Nader, during the Gary Nader 40th Anniversary Gala. At the center of the exhibition are two works never previously displayed: Picasso’s Two Children (1954), offering insight into his exploration of childhood and portraiture, and Botero’s Flowers (2000), highlighting his signature use of volume, proportion, and vibrant color. These pieces frame a wider selection of works by leading Latin American artists, emphasizing the intellectual and aesthetic connections between their innovations and the foundations of European modernism. Presented during Miami Art Week, the exhibition reinforces the city’s role as an international hub for culture and reflects Nader’s long-standing contribution to that evolution.
