YoungArts will host its annual YoungArts Miami Gala on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at the Rubell Museum, marking the conclusion of National YoungArts Week and bringing together leaders from the arts, business, and philanthropic communities for an evening centered on artistic excellence and long-term support for emerging talent.

The gala is expected to welcome nearly 300 artists, cultural leaders, philanthropists, and community figures. The evening will feature performances by YoungArts award winners and the presentation of two major honors: the Arison Award and the YoungArts Jorge M. Pérez Award.
The Arison Award recognizes individuals who have advanced the Arison family’s legacy through sustained influence and support of young American artists. The award is designed by Jean Shin, a 1990 YoungArts winner in Visual Arts and U.S. Presidential Scholar in the Arts. The YoungArts Jorge M. Pérez Award, established in 2018, honors a former YoungArts awardee working in visual arts, design, photography, or film who has demonstrated a commitment to strengthening their community through artistic practice. The recipient receives a $25,000 cash prize.
The evening will be emceed by multidisciplinary performer Alaman Diadhiou, a 2016 YoungArts winner in Dance and U.S. Presidential Scholar in the Arts, alongside Tony- and Emmy-nominated actor, singer, and producer Brandon Victor Dixon, a 1999 YoungArts winner in Theater and U.S. Presidential Scholar in the Arts. Performances will be directed by Chanel DaSilva, a 2004 YoungArts winner in Dance and U.S. Presidential Scholar in the Arts.
Gala co-chairs include Sarah Arison and Thomas Wilhelm, Chloe Berkowitz, Molly and Bill Ford, Dr. Christina Pérez, and Brynne McNulty Rojas and Julio Rojas. The gala committee is composed of artists, collectors, and civic leaders representing a broad cross-section of the cultural community.
Support for the 2026 YoungArts Miami Gala is provided by Oscar de la Renta. Tickets and additional event details are available through YoungArts, with updates shared on the organization’s Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube channels.
