Wynwood Miami Launches #WynAtHome Virtual Series

As the world continues to self-isolate due to the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic, Miami’s Wynwood neighborhood beginning today will bring its beloved art, food, entertainment, and wellness experiences closer to home. The Wynwood Business Improvement District (BID) is launching the #WynAtHome virtual series on its popular @WynwoodMiami Instagram and Facebook channels to share live videos, stories and other never-before-seen content with its followers around the world.

To kickoff #WynAtHome, Pitbull’s own DJ Damaged Goods will be headlining an Instagram Live house party @WynwoodMiami tonight, Friday, April 3rd in collaboration with 1-800-Lucky, Wynwood’s popular Asian food-hall and music venue.

Next up, in honor of Taco Tuesday, #WynAtHome will take viewers into the kitchen at Coyo Taco for an Instagram Live cooking demonstration @WynwoodMiami on Tuesday, April 7th at 12/Noon—just in time for lunch!  Coyo Taco will share taco recipes that can be made at home with basic ingredients. There will also be special promotions, giveaways and other surprises.  Fans can also order to-go options of Coyo’s tacos, margaritas, beer, wine, tequila & mezcal to enjoy at home while viewing the live event.

“It’s important more than ever to foster a sense of community as we continue self-isolating during these unprecedented times,” said Albert Garcia, Wynwood BID Chairman. “The #WynAtHome virtual series will bring positive, shared experiences that celebrate our beloved Wynwood community to remind us we’re in this together.”

#WynAtHome content will be streamed live and posted on Instagram and Facebook @WynwoodMiami throughout the upcoming days and weeks including music performances curated by Wynwood’s Latin music nightclub El Patio, performances by artists in-residence at the Miami Light Project, wellness and fitness sessions from Sol Yoga, behind-the-scenes experiences at Veza Sur Brewery, culinary classes with Alter Chef Brad Kilgore, interviews with renowned street artists in collaboration with the Museum of Graffiti and so much more.

Anyone wishing to participate is encouraged to follow and tune-in @WynwoodMiami on Instagram and Facebook and use the hashtag #WynAtHome to share user content.
