Wonder Paws Rescue Hosts Fourth-Annual “Par for the Paws" Charity Golf Tournament
Fort Lauderdale's Wonder Paws Rescue is teeing up for its highly-anticipated, fourth-annual “Par for the Paws” charity golf tournament at Jacaranda Golf Club.
Taking place on Saturday, October 26, the fun-filled event promises not only a day of golfing and entertainment but also the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of neglected and abandoned animals within the community. All proceeds from the tournament will directly support Wonder Paws Rescue’s efforts to provide care, shelter and second chances for furry friends in need.

What’s in store? The day kicks off with a welcome barbeque, followed by complimentary drinks, a silent auction and an awards banquet to honor the top golfers. Those ready to join in on the fun must register in advance, whether a golfer, partier, sponsor or those interested in underwriting opportunities. Participants will also have the chance to win big, with a $10,000 cash prize for a Hole in One, a $100,000 shoot-out and a Putt to Win a 7-night resort stay on the line. Whether you’re a golfer, sponsor or simply there to enjoy the festivities, there are multiple ways to get involved.

Wonder Paws Rescue, an independent nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, is well-known in the community for its animal rescue efforts. Made up solely of volunteers, the organization has saved the lives of over 2,000 cats and dogs and counting. Funds raised from Par for the Paws will aid in veterinary care, live saving treatments, rescue missions, food and medication costs and more.
