Winter Wonderland: Sock Skating Returns to Miami Children’s Museum November 2025

ree

The Miami Children’s Museum is once again bringing the magic of winter to South Florida with the return of Winter Wonderland: Sock Skating, opening to the public on Sunday, November 16, 2025.

The Museum’s What’s New Gallery will transform into a sparkling indoor winter paradise, where families can glide, play, and explore—no ice skates required. Children and parents alike can enjoy sliding across the sock skating rink surrounded by festive décor, shimmering snowflakes, and joyful holiday energy, offering a perfect seasonal escape in Miami’s warm climate.

The grand opening celebration will begin with a ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the official start of the Museum’s holiday season. Throughout the day, guests can participate in interactive programming and hands-on experiences, including the debut of The Lost Pirate Show, a new family performance filled with adventure and imagination. Visitors can also stop by Professor Flurry’s Lab, where the Museum’s resident winter scientist will lead “snow-tastic” experiments combining science and fun.

Sponsored by Beacon Real Estate Group, Winter Wonderland: Sock Skating will remain open through February 2026, giving families ample time to enjoy the immersive winter experience. Along with skating sessions, the exhibit includes creative winter crafts and themed activities designed to inspire learning through play.

The Winter Wonderland: Sock Skating exhibit will be held at the Miami Children’s Museum, located at 980 MacArthur Causeway, Miami, FL 33132. Parking is available on-site.

Tickets can be purchased through the Museum’s website. For more information, visit www.miamichildrensmuseum.org.
