Whimsical Art Exhibition by French Pop Artist Alain Godon Opens at Carousel Fine Art
Carousel Fine Art in collaboration with Markowicz Fine Art are presenting an exhibition by French pop artist Alain Godon from March 13 to April 8 at Carousel Fine Art’s Miami gallery, displaying the full spectrum of Godon's artistic prowess.

Born in Bourges, France, Godon has made international headlines for his quirky, colorful style, which is characterized by deconstruction, humor, and his great admiration for architecture. His creative method brings cities to life by combining playfulness and technical mastery. The colorful, dimensional works invite viewers into imagined, colorful worlds filled with reconcilable landmarks, clues, and frame narratives.
Godon’s "Childish Art” style can be seen in his oil paintings, which showcase whimsical worlds, brimming with a childlike essence. His artistic repertoire also expands to bronze sculpting. Through this medium, Godon articulates his worldview—a fusion of childish wonder and distinctive humor. In 2022, Godon pioneered QT (“Cutie”), a technique weaving layers of cut paper into captivating three-dimensional artworks.
Godon's artistic odyssey has transcended borders, gracing exhibitions in New York, Miami, Los Angeles, Aspen, Denver, Amsterdam, Bali, and notably, the 2001 French National Assembly. He also contributed artwork for the opening of the New World Center and was selected to illustrate the Miami Beach City Report in 2015.

Whether reimagining cityscapes or transforming everyday scenes into dreamlike compositions, one thing is certain - Godon's work invites viewers into a world where architecture, humor, and nostalgia intertwine.
Carousel Fine Art will host an opening reception and artist meet-and-greet on March 13 from 6-9pm, where the first 50 guests will receive a signed Alain Godon poster.
