Where the Celebration Happens
Miami Beach Pride transforms into a citywide celebration of LGBTQ+ culture and community. The festivities begin with the annual Pride Flag Raising at Miami Beach City Hall and continue with beloved events like the Family Picnic at Pride Park, the Queer Art Showcase at the Moxy South Beach, and the Mr. and Miss Miami Beach Pride Pageant.
One of the week’s most anticipated moments, “Drag Me to Pride” at Lummus Park, brings show-stopping performances from stars of RuPaul’s Drag Race to the beachfront stage. The celebration culminates with the two-day Miami Beach Pride Festival and Parade, where Ocean Drive and Lummus Park transform into a vibrant hub of music, art and visibility along the Atlantic Ocean.
Celebrate Miami Beach Pride with a special Sofar Sounds experience at Hotel Continental on Friday, April 10. This one-night-only show puts a festive twist on Sofar’s signature intimate show format, featuring a dynamic lineup of a drag queen, a DJ and a live music artist, all celebrating LGBTQ+ voices. Doors open at 7:30 p.m., with the show starting at 8:00 p.m. Food and drinks, including alcoholic options, will be available for purchase. Reserve your spot HERE.
Beyond the official events, nearby destinations across Miami Beach become natural gathering places throughout Pride week. Lincoln Road, the city’s iconic pedestrian promenade, hosts Pride on the Road on April 2 from 6:30-9 p.m. at the Euclid Oval, featuring live entertainment and community programming surrounded by some of the area’s most popular restaurants and shops.
Getting around the festivities is also part of the experience. Freebee, Miami Beach’s complimentary electric ride service, makes it easy to hop between Pride events, hotels and nightlife hot spots. With just a few taps in the app, riders can glide between Ocean Drive, Lincoln Road and nearby neighborhoods without worrying about parking.
