UR Luminous hosted its fifth annual Light Up the Night Gala on Friday, October 2, at the Four Seasons Hotel Miami. The event gathered nearly 300 guests to support early detection, breast health education, and equitable access to care, with proceeds benefiting the Luminous Advocacy Project Foundation.

Honorees and Event Program

During the program, The Real Housewives of Miami cast members Larsa Pippen, Kiki Barth, and Alexia Nepola received The Luminary Award and were named Pass the Light Ambassadors for utilizing their platforms to promote proactive health awareness. They appeared on stage with Romina Nabhen, creator of the Pass the Light campaign. Additional Luminary Award recipients included actress Drea de Matteo, Engineered Tax Services Founder and CEO Julio P. Gonzalez, and breast cancer advocate Ángeles Alumna.

Mrs. Florida International 2026 Michele Reese served as host, while former NFL player Vince Papale presented the awards. Remarks were delivered by Luminous Advocacy Project Foundation Founder Marylin Dans, Board Chair Dr. Julio Hernandez, and medical experts Dr. Diego Illanes and Dr. Diana Caragacianu.

Entertainment and Auction

The evening featured a musical performance by Miami singer-songwriter Robbie Elias and his band. Additional entertainment included an African drum performance by Brenda Navarrete, a live band, and a fire performer. Silent and live auctions offered travel experiences to Italy, Portugal, Costa Rica, and South Africa, alongside jewelry and a signed Bad Bunny record.

The gala also highlighted the Luminous device, an at-home breast familiarity tool using red-light illumination to assist users in observing breast tissue between medical appointments.
