This October and throughout the holiday season, The Bass is your destination for art, creativity, and family fun! Get ready for the spooky spirit at Family Day | Costume Couture on Sunday, October 26th, where costumes are highly encouraged for a contest and art-making inspired by masks and fashion. Beyond Halloween fun, start planning for Miami Art Week in early December, which features extended hours, special tours, a free Community Day, and exciting new exhibitions like Jack Pierson: The Miami Years. Whether you're interested in attending Art Week events with The Bass Art Pass, enrolling the kids in Winter Art Camps, or exploring weekly programs like Bass Babies and The Studio, there's a creative experience waiting for all ages at The Bass.

We are pleased to announce JackPierson: The Miami Years, now on view through August 16, 2026! This is the first exhibition devoted to exploring the city’s transformative impact on Pierson’s life and work.
JackPierson: The Miami Years is the first exhibition devoted to exploring the city’s transformative impact on Pierson’s life and work. South Beach’s sun-soaked landscape and queer nightlife offered a spirited reprieve from the pressures of his New York City home base, with the freedom of inexpensive apartments and thrift-store finds helping fuel the undercurrent of wanderlust and escapism brewing in Pierson’s art.

Bass Babies is BACK on Thursdays and Saturdays from 11 AM–12 PM at The Creativity Center!
Join us at The Bass Creativity Center for a weekly art program designed for our youngest visitors–aged 2 through 4–and their caregivers to foster new discoveries in sensory awareness, creativity and pre-literacy skills through hands-on art activities.
Each week, students will learn about colors, shapes, patterns, numbers and letters while exercising free expression. This practice aids in problem solving, assists in decision-making, and provides a creative outlet for early learners.
Led by teaching artist, Paloma Dueñas these multidisciplinary and sensory sessions are designed for toddlers to learn basic concepts of art and artists through the exploration of art and music.
