UNIQLO Expands U.S. Presence With First Stores in Miami and Austin

UNIQLO will open its first stores in Miami and Austin in Fall 2026, marking a new phase in the global apparel retailer’s U.S. expansion. The company also announced a new Houston location, continuing its growth in Texas following its market entry in 2024.

The Miami debut will include two locations, one at Aventura Mall and another on Lincoln Road in Miami Beach. In Texas, UNIQLO will open at Barton Creek Square in Austin and at The Galleria in Houston, strengthening the brand’s footprint in major retail destinations.

Company leadership said the expansion reflects a strategy focused on entering new regions while continuing to grow in established markets. The approach is intended to support long-term, store-led growth and build stronger ties with local communities.

UNIQLO’s U.S. stores are designed to deliver the brand’s LifeWear concept, centered on functional, high-quality apparel intended for everyday use. Standard features include RFID self-checkout, in-store alterations, and RE.UNIQLO donation bins. Select locations may also offer UTme! customization services and RE.UNIQLO Studios for repairs and embroidery.

Founded in Hiroshima, Japan, in 1984, UNIQLO has grown from a single casualwear shop into a global retailer with more than 2,500 stores worldwide. The company currently operates 78 stores across the United States. More information about the brand and its collections is available at UNIQLO.
