UBS will present Beyond Pop: Art of the Everyday at Art Basel Miami Beach 2025, a program highlighting the intersection of fine art, pop culture, and contemporary life. The presentation includes a new commission by Katherine Bernhardt, works from the UBS Art Collection, interactive public programming, and contributions to the fair’s new digital art initiative, Zero 10. Art Basel Miami Beach runs December 5–7 at the Miami Beach Convention Center.

A newly commissioned monumental painting by Bernhardt, Superstorm (2025), anchors the UBS Lounge. The work appears alongside pieces from the UBS Art Collection by artists who reinterpret everyday objects and commercial imagery, including Gabriel de la Mora, Hilary Pecis, Hong Hao, Claes Oldenburg, Ed Ruscha, Wayne Thiebaud, and Andy Warhol.
The UBS Art Studio expands the theme with additional works by Bernhardt, including a Pink Panther painting, a unique screenprint, and mushroom-shaped beanbags. The space also features a ceramic clock by Pae White and works by Michael Craig-Martin, Anne Collier, and Do Ho Suh. A new video filmed in Bernhardt’s St. Louis studio will screen throughout the fair. Fairgoers can also participate in a hands-on workshop from December 5–7, creating their own pop-art–inspired prints.
Art Basel’s debut edition of Zero 10, curated by Eli Scheinman, will include 12 international exhibitors. Among them is Lu Yang, whose digital work DOKU-Heaven (2022) is on loan from the UBS Art Collection. The motion-capture and 3D-animated video immerses audiences in a vivid virtual space exploring consciousness and transformation.
UBS will also host a public panel, Beyond Trends: Building a Timeless Collection, on December 6 at 2:30 pm as part of Art Basel’s Conversations program. The discussion features collectors in conversation with UBS Art Advisory Specialist Matthew Newton.
As the Supporting School Access Partner, UBS will provide nearly 1,000 complimentary tickets to students from KIPP Miami, Miami-Dade County Public Schools, and New World School of the Arts, continuing its effort to expand access to contemporary art education.
UBS has also released recent research, including the Global Wealth Report 2025 and the Art Basel and UBS Survey of Global Collecting 2025, offering insights into current shifts in collecting and wealth trends.
