Tribeca Festival Returned to Art Basel Miami Beach With Two Nights of Live Performances

The Tribeca Festival returned to Art Basel Miami Beach for its fourth annual edition, presenting two nights of live performances at the Miami Beach Bandshell on December 5–6. The program, presented by Google Gemini, brought together new voices in music and storytelling during one of the city’s most active cultural weeks.

The 2025 lineup highlighted emerging artists shaping contemporary culture. On December 5, the Bogotá-based, Latin Grammy–nominated group Monsieur Periné performed a blend of Latin swing and pop. The following night featured Hermanos Gutiérrez, an instrumental duo known for cinematic compositions that have attracted international attention. Additional performers were announced in the weeks leading up to the event.

The festival also included an invitation-only program hosted by Tribeca and ESPN, offering an early look at two short films exploring stories rooted in sports and the Latino community. A conversation with the directors, moderated by Emmy Award–winning filmmaker Rudy Valdez, accompanied the screening.

This year marked the fourth collaboration between Tribeca and Art Basel Miami Beach, which took place December 5–7 at the Miami Beach Convention Center, following VIP preview days on December 3 and 4. Over the past three years, the Tribeca program has become a recurring cultural feature in Miami, previously welcoming artists such as Robert De Niro, JR, Camila Cabello, Chance the Rapper, Flying Lotus, Domi & JD Beck, Yussef Dayes, Magdalena Bay, and Eartheater.

Visitors also experienced the Google Gemini Photobooth, an installation that allowed guests to take photos, apply AI-generated styles, and print photo strips on-site. The activation continued beyond the festival, appearing at universities and public events throughout December.
