On December 4, 2025, Dorsia unveiled “Time Drop,” an immersive art installation blending water, audio, light, sculpture, and mirrors to challenge perceptions of time and space. The installation had first been shown at that year’s Burning Man 2025 festival and was then being presented at the soon-to-open Dorsia Miami Headquarters and Social Club.

Time Drop was open daily from 10 AM to 2 AM through Monday, December 8. Visits were available by reservation only via the Dorsia app.

An Interactive Temporal Playground
Created by New Mexico–born engineer and artist Jordan MacHardy, Time Drop turned a 30-by-10-foot space into a multisensory environment where visitors could manipulate the flow of water, light, and sound — even reverse time within the installation.
Droplets descended in a glowing “rain,” but a simple turn of a knob slowed the cascade, and another twist sent water rising — as if time itself was rewinding. The piece could accommodate 80–100 guests per hour and was ADA accessible.

Context: Miami Art Week Spotlight
Set against the intense pace of Miami Art Week 2025, Time Drop stood out as a quieter, contemplative alternative to fairs and exhibitions — offering a moment to engage directly with elemental phenomena in a controlled, dreamlike space.
