The Wolfsonian–FIU Museum Schedule of Events
The Wolfsonian–FIU, located in the heart of the Art Deco District in Miami, is a museum, library and research center that is offering an array of cultural events this March. As always, Miami residents can access all events free of charge.
This year’s survey includes issues such as human connection and civic participation. Submissions remain anonymous, with an opportunity to win a $100 Visa gift card.
Tyrants and Terrorists: Satirists Bite Back! Installation Opens Wednesday, March 1 @ 10am–6pm
Contemporary drawings by iconic cartoonist Sam Gross (The New Yorker) are presented alongside Wolfsonian collection propaganda materials.
Discovering Design Free Family Day: Turn the Beat Around Sunday, March 5 @ 10:30am–1:30pm
Taking cues from Turn the Beat Around, jam out in a workshop led by the South Florida Center for Percussive Arts and design a colorful creation with local artist Aurora Molina.
New Music Miami ISCM Festival 2023 Wednesday, March 15 @ 7–9pm
Organized by FIU School of Music, the New Music Miami ISCM Festival has been championing and presenting cutting-edge performers and compositions for over 24 years.
Miami Beach Culture Crawl Thursday, March 16 @ 6–9pm
