The Ritz-Carlton, South Beach Celebrates the F1 Weekend in Style

The Ritz-Carlton raised a glass to the Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix on Friday, May 6 with an exclusive celebration at The Ritz-Carlton, South Beach. Marking the first time that a Grand Prix took place in the destination, the dynamic event, held at the hotel’s DiLido Beach Club, kicked off the race weekend in style. With a theme of “Timeless Miami,” guests were able to experience Miami through the ages over the course of the evening.

A culinary journey through the city’s different decades included street food style tostadas, tostones and tacos to represent the years 2000-2020, while the 1970s – 1990s were brought to life through a delectable sushi market and towering baked Alaska. Finally, the 1950s and 60s showcased Miami’s golden era through a raw bar. Specialty cocktails were expertly crafted by the resort’s mixologists, while a selection of local craft beers were provided by Wynwood Brewing, further celebrating the destination. Partygoers exploring the grounds were also treated to a hidden speakeasy nestled among the foliage surrounding the beach club.

The night featured an exclusive DJ set by Hannah Bronfman. Notable VIPs included Brady & Alicia Quinn, Brendan Fallis, Cyndi Ramirez, Louis-Nicolas Darbon, Lisa DiCicco Cahue, and more, were joined by Anthony Capuano, Chief Executive Officer for Marriott International, Craig Smith, Group President, International Division at Marriott International, Chris Gabaldon, Senior Vice President, Luxury Brands at Marriott International, and Donna McNamara, Vice President and Global Brand Leader for The Ritz-Carlton, in celebrating the occasion.
