The Ritz-Carlton Expands to Mexico's Caribbean Coast with Exclusive Residence


Desarrolladora Arca, in collaboration with IMI Worldwide Properties, proudly announces the debut of The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Riviera Maya and The Ritz-Carlton, Riviera Maya. This marks The Ritz-Carlton brand's first venture into Mexico's Caribbean coast. The project includes 127 furnished residences starting at $1.824 million, strategically located between two international airports amidst 220 acres of tropical canopies, mangroves, and stunning Caribbean Sea views. The site offers 1,600 feet of private shoreline perfect for various ocean activities. Sales and construction will commence this year, with the first phase expected to launch in 2026, featuring 29 completed residences alongside The Ritz-Carlton, Riviera Maya.



IMI Worldwide Properties is currently accepting reservations for its Friends & Family Insiders Program. This exclusive program provides 29 owners with preferred preconstruction pricing and the opportunity to secure their beachfront estate or residence before the public release.



Gregorio Galicot, President of Desarrolladora Arca, expressed pride in pioneering The Ritz-Carlton's first hotel and residences in Riviera Maya. He emphasized the brand's perfect fit, blending Ritz-Carlton's renowned standards with the unique charm of the region. Sarah Khalifa, VP of Mixed-Use Development at Marriott International, highlighted the significance of this collaboration, noting the project as a flagship addition that sets a new benchmark for luxury hospitality in the region.



The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Riviera Maya are designed as a self-contained village, integrating seamlessly with the natural environment. The acclaimed Mexico-based firm Sordo Madaleno leads the architecture and design, emphasizing preservation of the land's beauty. The project maintains 85% of the surrounding jungle and includes various high-end living options such as Beachfront Estates, Grand Residences, and Mangrove Cottages. These residences feature custom-designed kitchens, premium appliances, private plunge pools, and expansive terraces with ocean views.


Mike Collins, founding partner and CEO of IMI Worldwide Properties, highlighted the strong demand for bespoke real estate in Mexico, driven by a record number of visitors to Quintana Roo. He emphasized the uniqueness of The Beachfront Estates, a limited collection of 13 homes with direct beach access. The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Riviera Maya, with its thoughtful amenities and exceptional design, aims to captivate luxury living enthusiasts.
