The Pride Kickoff Event Miami Beach Has Been Waiting For

Spring in Miami Beach has its own kind of energy, and this year, Pride season opens with something worth showing up for. On April 2, Lincoln Road transforms into the setting for Pride On The Road: a brand new, free public event at the Euclid Oval that picks up right where the 5:30 p.m. Progress Pride Flag Raising at City Hall leaves off.

From 6:30 to 9 p.m., the iconic pedestrian stretch becomes a gathering place in the truest sense. Miami's beloved Spam Allstars headline this evening's live entertainment, while illustrator Brett Olivieri transforms a large-scale work into a collaborative paint-by-number installation. Miami-based artist Camilo Rojas debuts a Pride-themed installation featuring a neon piece reading "You Are Love" , alongside arches painted in Pride colors, a striking and photo-ready moment rooted in his ongoing exploration of love, identity and connection.

A strong presence of local LGBTQ+ organizations will also be on-site throughout the evening, offering resources and connecting directly with the community. Complimentary light bites and a cash bar round out the night.

This captures exactly what a night like this is meant to feel like; it's the kind of evening Lincoln Road was made for. Click here to learn more.
