The Nader Sculpture Park proudly announces a special evening celebrating the arrival of Fernando Botero’s mid-size sculptures, alongside the unveiling of “Chroma Emotiva” by Soraya Abunaba´a.

This exclusive cocktail event embodies the spirit of the park, a space where the timeless legacy of Latin American masters converges with the creative pulse of today’s most compelling contemporary voices.
The evening will open with a celebration of two powerful artistic visions. Fernando Botero’s timeless bronze sculptures reveal the harmony of form and volume that define his work, while Soraya Abunabaa’s mirrored sculpture invites viewers to explore a more introspective dialogue with nature, emotion, and the self.
The collection of mid-size sculptures now arriving at the park features some of the most emblematic subjects from Botero’s celebrated career — female figures in repose, dancers in graceful motion, equestrian icons, and symbolic representations of animals — each exemplifying his mastery of form and rhythm.
“Botero’s sculptures embody the soul of Latin American art —monumental yet deeply human,” says Gary Nader, founder of the Nader Sculpture Park. “They remind us that beauty and emotion can coexist in their purest form.”

In harmony with this celebration, the Nader Sculptures Park will also unveil “Chroma Emotiva,” the first monumental sculpture by Soraya Abunaba´a. Inspired by her Flora series, the reflective stainless-steel piece explores the emotional language of flowers as symbols of gratitude, friendship, and hope. Its mirrored surfaces encourage viewers to see themselves within the work, reflecting our shared connection to nature and to one another.
“This evening reflects the mission of the Nader Sculpture Park — to celebrate the excellence and diversity of Latin American art, where the legacy of masters like Botero meets the vision of emerging talents such as Soraya Abunabaa,” adds Nader.
The unveiling event will take place on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at Nader Sculpture Park (4201 NE 2nd Ave, Miami Design District, FL 33137).
Attendance by invitation only.
