The Little Lighthouse Foundation Toy Drive & Meal Distribution Saturday, December 17th
Spreading cheer just in time for the holiday season, non-profit organization Little Lighthouse Foundation, is set to host its 13th annual Holiday Toy & Meal Distribution on Saturday, December 17th from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Alongside community donations, the foundation has partnered with the legendary toy company Hasbro who has donated 6,000 toys.
With over 2200 children of all ages signed up, Little Lighthouse Foundation is transforming the North Shore Youth Center into a winter wonderland with a christmas tree, life sized snowglobes, arts and crafts stations, photos with Santa Clause and more from 1:30 p.m to 4:30 p.m. The annual Little Lighthouse Toy Drive has become a staple in the South Florida Community, impacting children and their families for generations to come.
Prior to the event on Friday December 16th, Little Lighthouse Foundation will be preparing for the toy drive at the Global Empowerment Mission Warehouse (GEM) with its dedicated team of volunteers.. Volunteers will sort through all donations while also preparing meal boxes and family necessity kits for underserved children and families in South Florida from 9:00 a.m to 12:00 p.m.
