The Hub Miami Hosts Intimate Evenings with Mark Oppenheimer and Ari’el Stachel
The Hub Miami is presenting two talent-driven cultural events this May at the Frankel Family Performing Arts Center, located at 5950 N. Kendall Drive in Pinecrest. The scheduled programming continues the venue's focus on intimate, story-led experiences following its recent third anniversary.
The series begins on Tuesday, May 12, at 7:00 PM with "An Evening with...Mark Oppenheimer on Judy Blume: A Life". Journalist Mark Oppenheimer will discuss his new biography, which draws from unpublished writings, private papers, and over 100 interviews to examine the life and legacy of author Judy Blume. The discussion will explore Blume's influence on literature, adolescence, and free speech. Organizers note that Judy Blume will not be in attendance. General admission tickets are available for $10, or $36 including a signed copy of the biography.
On Tuesday, May 19, at 7:00 PM, the venue will host "An Evening with...Tony Award Winner Ari’el Stachel". The breakout actor from The Band’s Visit will present storytelling, performance, and dialogue adapted from his solo show. The performance explores identity, OCD, mental health, and his experiences as an Arab-Jewish artist. General admission tickets for the performance are priced at $36.
