The Hoxton Wing – Mallet London Introduces its New Sneaker for Men
New for AW22, Mallet London introduces the Hoxton Wing. Since 2015, Mallet has been showing the world what luxury sneaker design looks like, and the Hoxton Wing is no exception to that rule.
The newly established silhouette represents Mallet’s uncompromising quality and timeless design vision. The sneaker has been given the Mallet badge of honor courtesy of its signature heel clip, while the white outsole keeps this style looking fresh yet classic. The Hoxton Wing is
available in six colourways; White, Black, Green, Ghost, Green & Orange, and Blue & Red.
The name, like all Mallet sneakers, is personal for the Brand Founder and Creative Director, Tommy Mallet. Hoxton was an area on the edge of North London where Tommy grew up. Tommy used to spend his childhood weekends roaming around Hoxton Market, a famous street market in London full of color, energy and character, and went boxing as a kid at the Crown & Manor Boxing Club in Hoxton.
Hoxton is an area that runs deep in Mallet folklore. Tommy's grandad used to bike around the area and Tommy's parents first date was at The Green Man pub in Hoxton which was owned by a family friend.
