The Hottest New Summer Happy Hours In South Florida

Updated: Jul 27, 2022

From East Asia to the Mediterranean, and from the mountains of Peru to the shores of South Florida, below are some of Miami’s most fun, fresh and worldly happy hour destinations to travel to this season.

As the summer sun shines down across Miami, you don’t have to leave SoFlo to experience a culinary journey around the world. Honor the global food staple, rice, from a Japanese perspective while sipping on sparkling Krug Champagne at Uchi, or celebrate the summer like the French with a golden hour rosé paired with caviar and oysters at Villa Azur.

Pop Krug Champagne at Uchi

Travel to Japan, right here in Wynwood’s Uchi which takes Japanese cuisine to the next level with its modern, non-traditional take. Offered daily from 5 - 6:30 p.m., the delicately designed happy hour menu features half-off all sparkling wine and champagne to spritz up each evening alongside small yet poignant tastings. This summer, Uchi is collaborating with the high-end champagne brand House of Krug starting on July 11 to honor the global symbol of sustenance and vitality — the culinary chameleon we call rice. Priced at $40, the special event will serve a 4 oz pour of Krug paired alongside a 2-piece Onigiri to harmoniously blend each ingredient and flavor. Live music will set the scene in the restaurant’s romantic dining room and lush courtyard, bringing the French Apéro to Miami Beach. For more information visit https://www.villaazurmiamibeach.com/.
