The Historic Stranahan House Museum transformed into a vibrant tropical oasis along the scenic New River for the 19th Annual Pineapple Jam on April 10, 2026. Welcoming more than 200 community leaders, philanthropists, and influencers, the elegant soirée successfully surpassed its fundraising goal by generating over $63,000.

These vital proceeds directly supported the ongoing preservation of Broward County’s oldest and most historic home, while also funding future enhancements to the cultural institution's educational facilities and community programming.

Dressed in tropical chic attire, guests enjoyed an immersive evening centered around the pineapple, a historic symbol of the warm hospitality that defined Fort Lauderdale's founding pioneers, Frank and Ivy Stranahan.

The event featured open bars provided by Gulf Stream Distillery and Tarpon River Brewing, culinary offerings from Hugh’s Catering, and live music by guitarist Mike Day. From a signature tropical welcome drink to a piña colada dessert spread, attendees celebrated the venue's rich legacy while bidding on exclusive silent auction and raffle experiences.

Co-chaired by Marianna Seiler DeJager and Brianna Reeves, the museum's largest annual fundraiser also took the time to recognize dedicated local advocates.
