The Gucci Portrait Series: Fall Winter 2025 Campaign Celebrates Individuality Through Intimate Storytelling

Gucci unveils The Gucci Portrait Series, its Fall Winter 2025 campaign captured by acclaimed photographer Catherine Opie. Featuring forty-two individuals from diverse generations and backgrounds, the campaign focuses on intimate, human-centered portraiture that highlights the personal connection between wearer and garment. Through both posed and candid moments, clothing becomes a subtle expression of identity—revealed through gestures, movement, and presence rather than performance.

Complementing the still imagery, a series of videos directed by Lisa Rovner captures cast members responding to open-ended prompts, offering unscripted glimpses of humor, memory, and reflection. Set against Gucci’s enduring spirit of sprezzatura—its signature studied effortlessness—the campaign reimagines the role of fashion as a vessel for individuality and authenticity. The Gucci Portrait Series ultimately invites viewers to see beyond style, embracing the people and stories that bring each piece to life.
