The Gay Men's Chorus of South Florida (GMCSF) brings live music and entertainment to the community

The Gay Men's Chorus of South Florida (GMCSF) brings live music and entertainment to the community through large-scale, main-stage concerts in high-profile venues, community-based engagements, and volunteer projects. More than 20,000 people are inspired and moved each year by the Chorus's music, community outreach, and mission, making GMCSF a significant LGBTQ+ nonprofit service organization and cultural asset in the heart of South Florida. With more than 170 singing members, the Gay Men's Chorus of South Florida is the southeastern United States' largest gay men's chorus and one of the country's ten largest nonprofit LGBTQ+ choruses.
Mission: We sing so that LGBTQ+ people can live their truth through quality music experiences that inspire audiences, open minds, change hearts, and affirm our common humanity.

Vision: A diverse world united.
Our members are a community of singers dedicated to our mission and a better future for all people. Being a member of the Chorus is not just about singing. It is also about being good role models for our youth, giving back to the community, and offering a helping hand to those who need one. GMCSF serves communities with live music and entertainment in Broward, Miami Dade and Palm Beach counties, Fort Lauderdale, Wilton Manors, and more!

GMCSF reached a significant milestone in December 2016, when we collaborated with Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood to perform our holiday concert at Hard Rock Live! The two entities have continued this partnership, now in its fifth year. Prior guest artists have included Linda Eder, Alan Cumming, Matthew Morrison, Jordin Sparks, and most recently Shoshana Bean. Annually, through a combination of the mainstage, outreach, and educational performances, the Gay Men's Chorus of South Florida reaches more than 20,000 individuals, making us a significant cultural asset in South Florida.

GMCSF holds auditions periodically throughout the season. We welcome all singers who can sing in the lower vocal register (Tenor 1, Tenor 2, Baritone, Bass) to audition. Potential singers must be at least 18 years of age at the audition and not in high school. All candidates must register before auditions. Email membership@gmcsf.org if you have questions.

From Panther Pride Night to Symphony in Lights tree lighting at GulfStream Park, GMCSF is performing and volunteering all around South Florida. The Chorus builds bridges and creates unity within the community. Our members devote their time and talents to give back. Fill out our performance request if you are interested in having the chorus perform at your special event. Email outreach@gmcsf.org if you have questions.

Diverse, intergenerational, multicultural: At GMCSF, a diverse, inclusive, and equitable organization is one where every human, whatever their gender, race, ethnicity, national origin, age, sexual orientation or identity, education, or disability, feels valued and respected. We have committed to a nondiscriminatory approach in our employment and programs throughout our history. We respect and value diverse life experiences and heritages and ensure that all voices are valued and heard. GMCSF is also committed to accessing its performances, members, volunteers, and staff.
