The Frost School of Music at The University of Miami Honors Charlie and Ann Johnson at Annual Winter Wonderful Gala

The renowned Frost School of Music at the University of Miami hosted its annual holiday Winter Wonderful gala on December 9th. The magical holiday dinner and musical experience by candlelight set the scene for a special evening with carols and holiday favorites performed by the Frost School of Music community. Proceeds from the gala benefit the Frost School’s music scholarship fund and the Donna E. Shalala MusicReach mentoring program.


 On Sunday, December 9, the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami celebrated its Winter Wonderful Gala. Frost School of Music Dean Shelton “Shelly” G. Berg presents honorees Charlie and Ann Johnson with the 2024 Frost Legacy Award. The Frost School of Music is the University of Miami’s elite music school that was recently named to Billboard’s Top Music Business Schools list for the tenth year in a row. 

This year’s gala honored Charlie and Ann Johnson with the 2024 Frost Legacy Award, a special honor. Given to philanthropic leaders in the arts. The couple, hailing from Palm Beach, are music lovers and generous donors, who have given to the Knight Center for Innovation and the Donna E. Shalala MusicReach mentoring program.
