The Betsy Hotel to Celebrate International Jazz Day with AfroBeat AllStars
The Betsy Hotel will host a celebration for International Jazz Day on Thursday, April 30, 2026. Presented by the Diaspora Vibe Cultural Arts Incubator (DVCAI), the evening features a lineup of live performances from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.
The event highlights the influence of the African diaspora on music and culture through a blend of Afrobeat, jazz, funk, and soul. Attendees will experience two distinct sets throughout the night at the South Beach landmark.
Performance Schedule and Artists
The musical program is divided into two segments:
Opening Acts (6 p.m. – 8 p.m.): Live music featuring vocalist Chloé Hogan.
Main Performance (8 p.m. – 11 p.m.): The Diaspora Vibe AfroBeat AllStars.
The celebration is supported by The Jorge M. Pérez Family Foundation at The Miami Foundation, continuing the partnership between DVCAI and The Betsy Hotel to provide platforms for diasporic artists.
