The Bass Museum of Art hosted its highly anticipated annual extravaganza, Night at the Museum, on Thursday, April 23, 2026. This year’s theme, Masked Realities: Black & White, transformed the museum into a world of striking contrasts, hidden identities, and immersive contemporary art.

The event was inspired by the exhibition Lawrence Lek: NOX Pavilion, as well as Truman Capote’s legendary 1966 "Black & White Ball". Guests experienced the museum’s galleries alongside unique activations, high-fashion moments, and live entertainment.
Event Highlights and Awards
The evening centered on a celebration of creativity, style, and community support:
Silent Auction: More than 58 contemporary artists featured works in a silent auction benefiting the museum’s education and exhibition programs.
Best ART-tire Contest: The Night at the Museum Host Committee, including Malena Assing, Ashley Cesario, Angie Ferrer, Evian Kuznik, Cynthia O’Keefe, and Adriana Vergara, judged the annual costume contest.
Winners: Dina Darina and Jonas Ferris took first place for best dressed, followed by Max Voloshyn and Julia Voloshyna in second, and Angeles Almuna in third.
Immersive Photography: The After Hours Photoshoot provided a customized experience inspired by Giano Currie’s Abstract Protocol series.
Culinary and Artistic Experiences
The extravaganza featured multidisciplinary installations and diverse entertainment:
Lighting Installation: Artist MIKIHUMO provided an experiential lighting installation in the Lindemann Courtyard.
Music: Guests danced to sets by DJCLAUDIOF, the resident DJ of Miami Beach hotspot Casa Tua.
Dining: H&C Collective served culinary delights on the museum's serpentine red communal table in the Social Assembly space.
Beverages: A selection of robust wines was provided by Las Tapas de Rosa.
