The Bass Museum of Art in Miami Beach has released its latest lineup of programs and exhibitions for spring 2026, highlighting new artist projects, education initiatives and special events across its main building and Collins Park satellite space.

Poetry Films Premiere at Third Thursday Read By Miami
On April 16, The Bass will host a Third Thursday evening in collaboration with O, Miami Poetry Festival and the Adrian Brinkerhoff Poetry Foundation, featuring the premiere of Read By Miami, a new series of poetry films presented during Miami Beach Culture Crawl.
The program includes eight films with poets Tom Healy, Caridad Moro-Gronlier, Christell Victoria Roach and Jaswinder Bolina, each reading one of their own poems and one by a favorite writer, along with two additional films featuring actor Ruben Rabasa.
All ten films were produced in Miami-Dade County and directed by Cuban-American filmmaker Eric Felipe-Barkin, with cinematography by Jorge Gonzalez Graupera, and seating for the screenings is available on a first-come, first-served basis with complimentary admission by RSVP.
Night at the Museum and Silent Auction Night at the Museum

On April 23, The Bass will present its annual members-only Night at the Museum event, titled Masked Reality: Black and White, an evening program that invites guests to experience contemporary art and live entertainment through a black-and-white dress code and masked theme.
The event is open to Affiliate-level members and above, with active memberships required on or after May 1, and attendees must hold or renew eligible memberships before securing their RSVP.
Ahead of the celebration, The Bass has launched an online silent auction connected to Night at the Museum, offering works by artists such as the Haas Brothers, Xaviera Simmons, Pepe Mar, Gonzalo Fuenmayor and Antonia Wright, along with over 50 additional contributors.
Bidders can explore contemporary pieces and pre-owned luxury items, with each purchase supporting participating artists through a revenue share, and the auction is accessible remotely to participants outside Miami Beach.
Those interested in the auction can bid now through The Bass’s online platform.
The Rotunda Satellite Gallery Opens in Collins Park
The Bass has introduced The Rotunda, a new satellite gallery in Collins Park that offers free admission year-round and extends the museum’s presence beyond its main building on Collins Avenue.
The space is designed as a dedicated venue for exhibitions and public programs in the park, with further details on its design and construction available through the museum’s online channels and event listings.
Information on upcoming events at The Rotunda and other current exhibitions is available on The Bass website.
Workshops, Camps and Exhibitions Continue Through Summer

In addition to evening programs, The Bass will host a series of education initiatives including Workshops @ The Bass: Poetry Field Day on April 18 for adults 21 and older, Art Cares: Small World Sculptures for families on April 11, and ongoing Bass Babies sessions for children ages two to four.
Summer Art Camps for children ages four to twelve will run from June 8 to August 7 at the Bass Creativity Center, offering weeklong sessions in sculpture, painting and design, with aftercare available in the late afternoon.
Current and upcoming exhibitions include Lawrence Lek: NOX Pavilion, on view through April 26, 2026, which focuses on artificial intelligence and speculative futures, and Faire Foyer: Sarah Crowner in Dialogue with Etel Adnan, presented through July 26, 2026, which brings together new work by Sarah Crowner and a ceramic mural by Etel Adnan in a specially designed foyer-like installation.
Partner organizations in Miami are also promoting related cultural events, including New World Symphony’s Neon Nights concerts at the New World Center and FilmGate Miami’s Youth Filmmaker Summer Bootcamp, which offers narrative and documentary filmmaking tracks for teens.
