The Bass wrapped Miami Art Week with a well-attended opening reception that brought together members, artists, VIP passholders, and creatives for an evening of contemporary art. Exhibiting artists Sarah Crowner and Lawrence Lek were joined by Board Chairman George Lindemann and President Diane Lieberman, as guests explored the galleries with music and refreshments.

Bass Dialogues: Art Talks Recap
As part of Bass Dialogues, the museum recently hosted a series of conversations with contemporary artists, including Jack Pierson and Isaac Julien, along with a hybrid in-person and virtual discussion with Michelangelo Pistoletto, presented by DMINTI. Each talk concluded with audience Q&A and extended time in the galleries.

Third Thursdays: TheNightclub
Tonight, December 18, from 6–9 p.m., TheNightclub activates The Bass with a one-night-only, site-specific installation led by Angela Valella, inviting visitors to participate in a live, evolving cultural experience. Complimentary admission is available with RSVP; seating is limited.

Art Week Pop-Up at The Shop
The Art Week Pop-Up at The Shop at The Bass, presented by Studio AF, is currently open for a limited time. The expanded pop-up features works by more than 30 artists, along with books, design objects, and curated gifts.

The Bass Café by Unique Catering Design
Unique Catering Design is now operating The Bass Café, offering pastries, sandwiches, warm meals, and coffee designed to complement a visit to the museum.

Lawrence Lek: NOX Pavilion
Lawrence Lek: NOX Pavilion remains on view through April 26, 2026. The immersive installation explores speculative futures shaped by artificial intelligence through film, sound, and sculptural environments.

Jack Pierson: The Miami Years
Jack Pierson: The Miami Years is now on view through August 16, 2026. The exhibition examines the city’s influence on Pierson’s life and work, drawing from South Beach’s landscape, nightlife, and sense of escape.

Art Cares: Painting With the Pros
Painting With the Pros, held on December 7, brought families together for a free Art Week program in partnership with the NFL Players Association Professional Athletes Foundation, where children painted alongside former NFL players.

Winter Art Camps at The Creativity Center
Winter Art Camps begin December 22 at The Bass Creativity Center, offering hands-on artmaking for children ages 4–12, with multiple session options and aftercare available.
