The Bass Museum of Art will host its Art Outside Annual Picnic at Collins Park on Saturday, March 28, from 4 to 7 p.m., offering free admission with RSVP for an afternoon of art activities, live music, and community programming.

Visitors are invited to bring picnic setups that reflect garden party style, creativity, or a Miami Beach theme, with prizes awarded in each category by WSVN television host Belkys Nerey. Hands-on art making inspired by current exhibitions will be led by The Bass Creativity Center and the museum’s Teen Board, with projects developed by Paloma Arts Inc and Everybody Draw Everybody.

The event will feature performances by Bop Shop Brass and DJ Samihead, along with activations by Raw Figs, Backgammon Social, Cut and Destroy Miami, and We Met in Miami, which will present a game night. Generous support for the program is provided by the Art Bridges Foundation Access For All Program, with additional support from Go 2 Events.

A ceremony during the picnic will mark the opening of The Rotunda, a new satellite gallery in Collins Park that will offer free admission year round. Further details and RSVP information are available on The Bass website.
