A Legacy of Grandeur and Hospitality
Raised in a Bangladeshi immigrant household, Tas grew up understanding that hosting is a profound expression of honor, generosity, and pride. In her culture, celebrations are immersive productions layered with symbolism, abundance, and meticulous attention to detail. From an early age, she witnessed how florals, lighting, music, and the overall guest experience could transform gatherings into emotionally resonant cultural moments.
South Asian celebrations are globally renowned for their grandeur, and that larger-than-life perspective naturally influenced the environments Tas creates today. For her, immersion has always felt intuitive—her own first birthday was a massive tented celebration hosting more than a thousand guests.
Rooted in Nature
Florals are deeply woven into her family history and creative DNA. Her grandfather opened a plant nursery in the early 1950s that remains family-owned today. Some of Tas’ earliest memories involve walking through rows of greenery and watching plants grow from seed to bloom. That deep appreciation for natural beauty continues to shape how she designs environments, ensuring they feel layered, intentional, and transformative.
The Evolution of Tas Events & Design
Tas officially launched her business in 2016. While balancing a full-time corporate career and college courses, she used her corporate income to fund bridal expos and early marketing efforts until she could fully commit to her creative vision. She initially began as an event planner but quickly realized her strengths extended far beyond coordination. She was naturally drawn to creative direction, atmosphere, texture, color, and scale.
Today, she leads a premier luxury design, décor, and production company specializing in immersive weddings, galas, milestone celebrations, brand launches, and experiential activations. At its core, her work serves as a modern interpretation of Bangladeshi hospitality: immersive, intentional, and rooted in the unwavering belief that celebration itself is a powerful form of storytelling.
