TAG Heuer Rejoins Formula 1 as Official Timekeeper for 75th Anniversary

As Formula 1 gears up to celebrate its 75th Anniversary in 2025, TAG Heuer is set to return to the sport as its Official Timekeeper. Known for its rich legacy in motor racing and precision timekeeping, TAG Heuer’s renewed partnership with Formula 1 marks the revival of a historic relationship that epitomizes luxury, innovation, and speed.

Formula 1 has seen a meteoric rise under Liberty Media’s ownership, becoming a global phenomenon with 750 million fans worldwide, over 90 million social media followers, and a rapidly diversifying audience. In 2024, the championship captivated 1.5 billion viewers, culminating in a thrilling Constructors’ Championship battle between McLaren and Ferrari.

Antoine Pin, CEO of TAG Heuer, expressed his enthusiasm:

“In a sport defined by mental resilience, physical strength, strategy, innovation, and performance, it is only natural for TAG Heuer to be at the very heart of Formula 1 as Official Timekeeper. With decades of history in F1 connecting us to the most successful drivers and teams, we are honored to be the name connected to the very thing that defines the winner: time.”

Formula 1 President and CEO Stefano Domenicali welcomed the partnership:

“With their focus on innovation, accuracy, and excellence, TAG Heuer is a natural partner. I am excited to see how our intertwining heritage can tell new stories for the future as we celebrate our 75th year.”

TAG Heuer’s presence will extend beyond trackside branding, with Fan Zone and Paddock Club activations and exclusive product launches designed to encapsulate the spirit of Formula 1.

The 2025 season promises to be a milestone year, blending the storied past of TAG Heuer and Formula 1 with a shared vision for innovation and performance, setting the stage for an exhilarating new chapter in motorsport history.
