Sunnyside Dispensary Celebrated Oakland Park Grand Opening

Cresco Labs, a vertically integrated multistate operator and the number one U.S. wholesaler of branded cannabis products, celebrated the opening of a new Sunnyside dispensary in Oakland Park on Friday, Oct. 22. This is the second Sunnyside store in Broward County, following the opening of Sunnyside Fort Lauderdale in August 2021. This store also marks Cresco’s 10th Florida and 38th nationwide location.

Sunnyside Oakland Park is located at 499 E Oakland Park Blvd. The nearly 2,000 sq. foot dispensary is near a Publix supermarket and minutes away from the I-95 highway, making it very accessible to daily commuters.

During the grand opening, customers enjoyed cookies from Fort Lauderdale-based Batch, the Cookie Company. Patients received free swag giveaways, including pins, stickers, t-shirts and more, and the first 50 customers received Glow & Grow kits.

“We’re thrilled to expand our presence in Broward County with the opening of our new Oakland Park location,” said Cris Rivera, Florida Regional President at Cresco Labs. “Sunnyside is bringing a new kind of cannabis shopping experience to Florida with our bright and welcoming stores and knowledgeable wellness advisors. We take great pride in educating our shoppers and meeting them wherever they are on their cannabis journey. Sunnyside Oakland Park will offer a welcoming in-store experience, a broad selection of high-quality brands including One Plant, easy online ordering and convenient next-day delivery service throughout the state.”

Sunnyside Oakland Park is proud to offer one of Florida’s highest quality brands, One Plant, known for its hand-trimmed flower and solventless live rosin concentrates. The store will soon introduce additional wholesale products from Cresco’s House of Brands. One Plant products currently include top-shelf genetics, hang-dried and hand-trimmed flower in popular strains like Runtz, Mac 1 and Ice Cream Cake; pre-rolled joints; vapes; concentrates; solventless ice hash products like live rosin; and traditional distillate products including vaporizer cartridges and topicals. This location will also sell branded merchandise and accessories including lighters, rolling papers and more.

The store will serve patients with a medical card issued by the state of Florida. Patients will have the option to place orders online through the Sunnyside.shop website or utilize next-day delivery. Orders can also be placed both in-store or via phone at 877-395-1009.

Regular store hours are Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
