South Florida has long been a melting pot of cultures and cuisines, but few restaurants manage to capture the soul of their homeland quite like Sufrat Mediterranean Grill. Founded by three brothers — Tamer, Samer, and Ahmad Altillawi — Sufrat has grown from a family dream into one of the region’s most celebrated culinary destinations, now spanning three locations across Pembroke Pines, Miami Beach, and Doral.

A Family legacy shared through food

The name Sufrat translates to “table” in Arabic, a fitting symbol for the heart of Jordanian culture. Sufrat is one epic feast. In Jordan, the table is where stories are told, laughter is shared, and generations come together. That same sense of connection is woven into the fabric of every Sufrat location. Walking into the restaurant, you’re not just dining out — you’re stepping into a cultural experience curated with warmth, authenticity, and tradition.

From Dream to expansion

What began in 2020 with a single location in Pembroke Pines quickly flourished into a culinary journey that has captured the attention of both locals and visitors. Their success hasn’t gone unnoticed: Sufrat has won first place at the Taste of Pines festival two years in a row, a recognition voted on by thousands of attendees celebrating the best food in the community.

With each opening, from Miami Beach’s bustling Alton Road to the lively Downtown Doral, Sufrat continues to expand its footprint — and its mission — of sharing authentic Jordanian flavors across Florida.

A Menu that transports you

At the heart of Sufrat is a menu rooted in family recipes passed down through generations. Diners can savor tender shawarma, perfectly crisp kibbe, creamy hummus topped with olive oil, and the beloved mansaf, Jordan’s national dish of lamb and rice in a rich jameed sauce. To end on a sweet note, the flaky layers of baklava drizzled with honey offer the perfect balance of indulgence and tradition.

Each dish is prepared with fresh ingredients and spices imported directly from the Middle East, ensuring that every bite tells a story of heritage and authenticity.

More than just a Restaurant

Sufrat doesn’t stop at the plate. In their commitment to offering a full sensory experience, weekends often feature live traditional music and belly dancing performances, transporting guests not only through taste but also through art and culture. It’s a celebration of Middle Eastern hospitality in its truest form.
