Subaru of Pembroke Pines Hosts Annual Dog Appreciation “Pawty” and Pet Adoption Event

Subaru of Pembroke Pines partnered with the Humane Society of Broward County to host its annual Dog Appreciation “Pawty” and Pet Adoption Event on Sunday, October 12. The family-friendly event invited the community to celebrate Subaru Loves Pets® with activities for all ages, including music, food, giveaways, and a pet costume contest. Special guests included Tour with Teddy, Mallow Frenchie, and radio personality Gabby Diaz from 102.7 WMXJ-FM. Guests were invited to bring their furry friends to enjoy the festivities, which featured local vendors and partners such as Brit’s Boards, Pet Spaw Palace, Dainty Days, Broward Bark, CTJ 360 Photobooth, and the Humane Society of Broward County.

“At Subaru of Pembroke Pines, our commitment to giving back is at the heart of everything we do,” said Subaru of Pembroke Pines District General Manager Alain De Rougemont. “The Subaru Loves Pets initiative is just one of the ways we contribute throughout the year, and we’re proud to partner with the Humane Society of Broward County to help find loving homes and create a lasting impact in our community.”

The event drew hundreds of attendees and their dogs, along with participating vendors who played a key role offering a variety of services, from grooming to pet supplies, creating an engaging experience for both pets and their families. The highlight of the event was the announcement of Subaru of Pembroke Pines’ “Pet of the Year,” with Keneau taking home the grand prize, which included a $100 American Express gift card, a Subaru of Pembroke Pines prize pack, and a four-pack of House of Horror tickets.

Since partnering with the Humane Society of Broward County in 2021, Subaru of Pembroke Pines has donated more than $113,400 through the Subaru Share the Love® Event to support shelter animals and help them find new homes. The Subaru Loves Pets® initiative, which donates $100 for every pet adopted during October, is a key part of this commitment, demonstrating Subaru of Pembroke Pines’ dedication to improving the lives of pets in need.
